I transferred 50.01 KMD to the barterdex amidst the upcoming ICO, i have come on this morning and my KMD have vanished !

This was the KMD address to which i sent them to : RC1wrVzzWPDLNEM4K3bUtWBMcGC6x1Dotp

Any assistance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

The KMD are still there and safe :
https://www.kmd.host/address/RC1wrVzzWPDLNEM4K3bUtWBMcGC6x1Dotp

Its just a display bug in agama

Thanks for help mate , to be honest I thought it may have been down to the software being new and all ,
Will it be a case of waiting for the bugs to be fixed befor they are accessible again ?
yes, or you can use the command line version if you really need to access them.

It is just an UI. Creating good UIs is not difficult. The important thing is the technical stuff and the demo does not show anything about it. It also seems that the UI itself is not taken from a running app but was created by an agency.

Nevertheless, I agree with you that decentralized exchanges are the future. But not sure it will be the Blocknet DEX  Smiley

I had participated in Komodo signature camapign and had received 1200 kmd for that in ICO dashboard.Back then Kmd had no stable wallet so I left my coins there and forgot.I still have access to dashboard and seed,.Anyway to get my kmd to exchange wallet?Though I never saw any kmd in my dashboard but I was told they are on blockchain.Any help would be appreciated

If you download and instal The new agama wallet in native mode with your seed, you can import your komodos and use they as you want, wallet is going perfect and you will enjoy your invest

I have the same problem,
I mined some KMD 1 month ago.
I installed this week the agama wallet. I imported the Private key but.... nothing.... 0 KMD

I sent some KMD from Bitrex to test the wallet. --> OK !!!

If I look at the blockexplorer, I see the mined KMD and the sent KMD at this address but not in Agama.

I'll check the support  :-D

hi folks, as a point of reference I would like to make a few comments because it seems we are not all on the 'same page' .. this would be quite an obvious result of running many different versions operating systems in various states of being. what seems to be confused by plenty of people is that new new Agama wallet is actually "working" for everyone. I am here to say that it is not. I run linux and have been grappling with Agama for months. Actually mostly I use the command line tools because agama has never worked for me. the earlier versions appeared to be 'working' the best although they still generated addresses in SPV mode that I couldnt obtain (at the time to my knowledge) the private keys for the addresses. So I stopped using Agama for a while.

Just a quick comment for anyone who is using Agama- BE SURE TO HAVE ALL OF YOUR PRIVATE KEYS. That way you will never "lose" coins due to a malfunctioning GUI because you have the privkey.

--
$komodod&
$komodo-cli importprivkey [your privkey here]
--

If you don't have the privkey, it's not really your address! Thats just a joke I say about this all. wallet.dat is not good enough, DUMPPRIVKEY and put them somewhere safe. Then you know you can restore your funds from anywhere. Thats one problem solved.

The other problem is with the fact that people think Agama works? It does not. I installed in a fresh VM of Ubuntu, read that as clean and fresh install I know you know and then loaded Agama. I am sorry to say that I preferred the 'more-working' version of Agama without the fancy ubuntu/windoze installer because it (the older version) appeared to work better once it was installed. A fancy installer does not do a damn bit of good when it installs a broken piece of software.

Why is it broken? From komodod output I can see the blockchain is in full sync. For some reason Agama fails to realize that when the coin is started in Native mode with a full blockchain sync.. Agama says "KOMODO IS DOWN" and I see that it is at 1.000000 and it is NOT DOWN because I can issue komodo-cli calls just fine.

While I love Komodo and I am hyper impressed with the tool kit that most people dont yet understand, I am struggling to see why you would ever release these GUI's to the public???!!! Zcash has done much better by _NOT_ releasing the GUI's so you can see that it is better to have a non existent tool then something that is claiming to work and it broken. This is a great way to keep the price of KMD down low so I am not complaining because I am trying to get as much KMD as possible before it blasts off.

One final note is that the buildog barterdex is just slightly offensive (to a big time komodo fan) because they dont even put KMD at the top of the list on the coin menu! WTF???!!!! I am furios about this. It's not branded KMD is makes no mention of supernet or komodo it just says BUILDOG and bumps KMD down the list like it is some lesser coin what a f*ckin joke! I have got say that I am really insulted by this (and no I have nothing to do with KMD just a big fan who feels cheated by the buildog barterdex) ... I HOPE KOMODO IS NOT PAYING BUILDOG FOR THAT THING AND IF THEY ARE THEY SHOULD BE SURE IT IS PROPERLY BRANDED BEFORE RELEASE !!!

Thank you for reading and considering these statements. And good news on the postpone of the MNZ barter there is no way that would have been a good result. JL777: you are way too far ahead of your team and maybe some more effective GUI devs are called for because the current GUI's make the whole coin look like a joke in the eye of the public. Better off with command line tools and nobody even knowing how to use it then a bunch of tools that dont work. Just my two sense.

Lots of love to everyone involved ,and thanks you.

just one more quick note about the dICO, I would like to say my opinion that I think it is a strategic mistake to showcase the MNZ token as the first (and only as of this time) token/assetchain on the komodo platform. Although everyone would love to showcase the new tek after all of the challenging work, the near future of kmd is based now in part on the efficacy of a single campaign of a virtually unknown company. I for one am not impressed with their reasons for asking for my KMD and I am for sure holding onto the KMD because I am impressed with what that is offering me. It is exciting the thoughts of a dICO and here is my thoughts about it not just criticism but advice..

it was mentioned that there were some projects also wanting to do dICO on KMD platform.. why not launch several at once so it is not just one "hit or miss" and the world can actually see komodo being komodo not with the focus on one project or another because the fine data of each project and their purposes should not indicate the fate of komodo and in this way it is more distributed pass/fail then just on one project that usa people cannot even get behind. too sketchy and speculative of an outline to be asking for my money and if I recall almost every whitepaper for ico that I have seen has a much more clear picture of project goals/roadmap and definitive timeline of progress.. which of course is not always adhered to lol but really if you are going to ask for money from me then I need some more impressive data than some sketchy roadmap with very little information presented.

and no offense, I would love to see kmd launch dICO with a BUGFREE platform on multiple coins/projects because then KMD would be in the spotlight to shine with it's capabilities and maybe people can comprehend what komodo is and not be absorbed with the trivialities of the goals/intentions/integrity of one fintek company that does not even help non-business-owining and non-french people.. it is very distracting and misleading from what komodo is.

I hope ya'll can feel that in the heart because that is where I am speaking from. this whole thing is way too important for the world and some thoughtful (not haphazard) strategy is now advised. thank you for your consideration.

That's is a misunderstanding if anyone says if BTC dies Komodo will also die as Delayed Proof of Work (dPoW) notarizations are recorded on Bitcoin. People should read dPoW whitepaper, or watch recent cryptogrinders interview, we have covered about dPoW a lot many times at different places.

Quote
The public testing that took place within the Komodo community this week was a highly beneficial experience. Our community helped to optimize the standalone dICO App, as well as to identify additional issues that we can now resolve.
Therefore we are establishing lucrative bounty-rewards for the most active testers and beta dICO participants. At Komodo, we take pride in holding ourselves to the highest standards of quality when it comes to trust-less decentralization, and we appreciate the support our community provides.

Organic growth at its best.

Easy to explain we just notarize to a different chain.

Just an FYI about bittrex accounts guys. They are randomly blocking verified accounts with no support.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bittrex-exchange-breaks-silence-on-banned-accounts-questions-remain

On the other note, I've got hit today with 2k KMD and 1.7BTC stuck there. My account was unverified/generic with virtually no limit and now there is 0.025BTC/day. When registering years ago I gave them not my info I cannot change now, LOL. So it looks like there is 3-4 months of daily withdrawals now Smiley

Be aware.

Welcome to the world of dealing with US companies and US kyc laws. That article from a month ago makes me LOL
P.S.- It's true that they didn't give enough advanced warning; they only announced it in the FAQ on December 27, 2015 that this was going to happen  Roll Eyes

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

true. kmd can jump to any other blockchain if that blockchain becomes the dominate one...great feature/fail safe.
