In general, I'm heavy against all types of drugs (including weed). Ok, weed isn't such bad thing, but I think it also should be illegal, but maybe people who smoke weed don't deserve strict punishment.
All other drugs have only negative impact. Many people who starts to use light drugs, later try more harmful drugs. And these days drugs are more dangerous than it was in past. Lot of drugs are made from dangerous chemical and sinthetic material.
And I don't know any drugs except weed which can be used for recreation safely.

What good is marijuana? This is the same drug as others. May be it differs from the effects of other drugs, but in any case, after the use of drugs, man ceases to control myself. This is very bad and can lead to disaster not only for the addict but also for others.

So far I've noticed that guys that do drugs like mdma, ecstasy, cocaine, weed(if you consider it a drug, I don't tho) are lowlifes that are in the setting of "Let's get wasted, party and then do some more drugs" and nothing else but they always look at themselves as something higher than the others.

What ever you call that kind of drug use, those drugs were very addictive. Once you have started using it your body would long for it. Here in the Philippines, one of the most problems encountered is Drugs. The government is very eager to resolve this problem but this is so frustrating, its like the users multiplies every year. Because of that problem on drugs, many people are being killed.

Once a person got addicted on drugs, they loss their self control and do things uncontrollably. Their consciousness was lost making them criminal. You may say, not all people who uses drugs can be like that. But its is better if you don't use it. Not just for yourself but for other people as well.

Other than its use as a painkiller, I don't think that Marijuana is having any other medicinal usage. But certain type of patients (especially those who suffer from terminal cancer) will be able to save a lot of money in the form of painkillers, if Marijuana is legalized.

i'd rather not. as if there are few ways to get yourself high in parties. people get drunk all the time which is for me worse than getting high on weeds but the other drugs that you've mentioned are way more dangerous than this. cocaine and ecstacy, which are lab drugs give far more danger and should be avoided at all times. it's not about partying anymore as these drugs damage your brain and have been proven to cause crimes

Drug is very harmful for the country and society. Due to the use of drugs the young nation and society are being destroyed. People are involved in stealing, robbery, and murder.

Drugs are good, recreational use of drugs can be good for everyone! Where is the problem? Most of you are ok  with medicine drugs, and drugs that some pharmacy prescribed you but when we talk about natural herbs that gives unique perception and point of view then that is harmful?
We live in this shit world because majority lives in ignorance. This natural herbs are forbidden in many counties, did you ask yourself why? In that case you can't heal yourself at home, you need to go and buy special chemical drug from pharmaceutical corporation, yea that is perfect! Price of this natural herbs are high, mainly because they are in list of forbidden substances and working with them can get you arrested. High price leads people to make new cheap, highly poisonous drugs and people are dying from that.

But seriously if you've tried marijuana as an adult in a non hostile setting, I have concerns about a person's disposition and psychological state, if you didn't at like it at all. I get the experience being a bit much the first few times, but with the proper scene, that's half the fun.

Medical marijuana will be largely legal in the next five years or so. It will take another decade, however, to see recreational legal across the board.

We would need to do more to keep it from the kids, though. It's pretty strong now (I say this as a person very, very knowledgeable of the current state of marijuana genetics). It's a serious demotivator in youth/young adults,/they should regulate it just like alcohol. The new vape technology isn't helping; it's getting easier and stealthier to light up. If we can keep the kids away, then full steam ahead with legalization.

I take this back. Sessions just nixxed Holden's previous guidance on enforcement and sentencing. We are officially 'tough on crime' again, people.

So we kill the drug prevention Dept, and double down on sentencing and arrests. Sounds like they want to put more people in jail, for longer. And that means CCA and private prisons will flourish.

Weed is not like the other drugs.

You can fuck yourself up while smoking weed as much as you can do it while smoking regular cigarettes or drinking alcohol. Weed is nowhere harder than those two. (actually alcohol and cigarettes are worse than weed) I don't have any experience with cocaine but i know you can also fuck yourself up easily if you overdose it. All the others like meth, heroin, ex etc are complete shit. You should never ever do any of them.

I am not a weed addict, i smoke 2-3 times a year and i've seen weed addicts as i've seen social smokers like me. It all depends on your personality in the end. If someone is retarded enough, he can even destroy himself by getting addicted to tea.

I've never really tried weed but most info I find online says that it's not hard as say, cocaine. I don't know if it's possible to really get addicted to it. I mean, if it'll get you high while not developing dependency (and not ruining your brain as well) then it would be really good. Legalize it and try to make it available and hopefully people would be flocking to this legal high rather than chasing after the harder drugs.

Any attempt to legalize drugs light or heavy it doesn't matter, intended to destroy morality in society. People who use drugs are always prone to crimes. I don't do drugs and even if they try to legalize it I will not let my children have tried them.

You need to realize that it is the people, and not the drugs who are responsible for the crimes. Anyway, the number of crimes under the influence of drugs are much less than those under the influence of alcohol.

Well, some of the drugs used to cure people who has not physically build genes but normal people used it for stupid things like you said getting wasted and party some more.. here in my country their are a lot of people who used drugs and even kids use drugs now "weed" is the name they used and to look good and be cool they just don't know what is the bad thing about it.

The irony is that marijuana grows well here in our country but manufacturers import ingredients from China and cook it up here (well, they're Chinese as well).

I'm now fairly convinced that marijuana won't make users violent but just trippy (still need research on long term use). What I'm curious is if it would prevent people from trying the hard drugs, or it would just be a gateway drug. I'm also curious if it would make a dent on the sales of hard drugs. From what I watched, when marijuana became legal to grow in the US, the marijuana farmers in Mexico started to switch to planting opium.

In my country is not much different, maybe worse, not only school children who use drugs, many housewives who use drugs and even become drug dealers to meet the needs of his life and his son, ecstasy, cocaine, weeds, hemp, Heroin, This Very popular in my country, you imagine, children learn in school while using drugs, people who work in the office while using drugs, parents cook when using drugs, drugs gives a big influence in all regions of the world. I do not know what the world should do about this problem, Because I'm sure, drugs can not be killed with a single stab, must be stabbed many times to kill the growth of drugs. i hope drugs disappear from the earth.....
