The government really dont care about the effects on the people, they are just concerned about the money they will make, If the entire USA eventually accepts the so called use of marijuana, its going to be catastrophic  for the entire country.

The pharma and drug cartels have managed to convince the people that marijuana is something evil. That is not the case. It is even less harmful than legal substances such as alcohol and tobacco. So there is no point in banning it.

I agree with you there dude. Its been well proven that alcohol and nicotine have much more negative effect on someone's health than weed. And further studies also indicate that weed is a magic drug that can be used to cure certain illnesses including cancer. Though excessive use of it may not be good, that goes for pretty much everything that is easily accessible to people.

I am not sure whether marijuana has any medicinal effect, other than its use as a painkiller. But the painkiller market is a huge one, and the current bunch of synthetic (mainly opioid derived) painkillers do have much more dangerous side-effects when compared to marijuana. If marijuana is legalized, then the pharma cartels will lose a huge chunk of their revenue.

It has many medical uses.  It helps with glaucoma and epilepsy, reduces nausea, increases appetite for people on chemotherapy as well as pain and sleep.  CBD oil (non psychoactive) has many medical benefits as well.

The only serious side effect for cannabis is that you might go to jail for using it.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Yes, marijuana has medical benefits on diseases like epilepsy and cancer thus, some doctors here in our country pushes for its legalization.  The government here has been approved the use of it only for patient who could show that they have diseases which needed the cannabis oil.  I am not quite sure of it but it is like that since I was watched it on documentary in a t.v.  The government has to regulate its use because prolonged use of it will cause addiction and will not become good to ones health.

As you can see in the subject, what is your opinion on a recreational use of drugs? So far I've noticed that guys that do drugs like mdma, ecstasy, cocaine, weed(if you consider it a drug, I don't tho) are lowlifes that are in the setting of "Let's get wasted, party and then do some more drugs" and nothing else but they always look at themselves as something higher than the others.

What is your opinion on that and is it the same at your place?

Also...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7rXlbHtcqM

Well, I know someone who uses weed and thinks that the society is fucked up. I think doing drugs even in recreational way is bad. It fucks up your mind. My friend's ideology about life and what's happening in the society sounds absurd when he shares his idea. It's like talking to someone who is not from Earth. And he also thinks that his intelligence and morality is higher than other people.

It's usually legal for medical use, but I guess it depends on which country we're talking about.  But does it make any sense to anyone to be legal if you have cancer, and you can go to jail if you don't have medical issues?  It's idiotic.

Prolonged use of cannabis is fine.  Of all the factors that would determines someone's level of health including nutrition, sleep, stress level, being challenged mentally, etc., whether or not someone uses cannabis has little to do with their health.  Even if it did, it would still not be a reason for it to be illegal.  It has a death count of 0.  Compare that with legal substances and the death counts are through the roof (tobacco, alcohol, prescription drugs).

WATCH: Congressman Asks a Question About Weed and Accidentally Exposes...

The Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP) met with members of Congress this week to discuss multiple issues when a Republican congressman asked a question that would expose the state's immoral and tyrannical war on drugs in an accidental stroke of logic.

Harold Watson "Trey" Gowdy III is a member of the Tea Party movement and the Republican Party and serves as a congressman from South Carolina. He is also the chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. During the meeting with the ONDCP this week, Gowdy asked why marijuana was a schedule I drug.

Schedule I "drugs, substances, or chemicals are defined as drugs with no currently accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse," the DEA claims. Given the mountains of evidence showing the beneficial nature of the cannabis plant, the DEA's claims are nothing short of asinine and tyrannical.

"Why is Marijuana worse than Cocaine?" Trey Gowdy grills clueless national drug policy director

The bodychemistry is finetuned over millions of years of evolution, adding chemicals that exists in drugs messes up that fine balanse that is your body. Just say NO.

I would advice against using any quantity of weed, but if you for the love of God must, then use as little as possible. High doses will mess you up real bad over time.

I think recreational drug use must be prohibited because I don't think that there is really a need of using drugs just for recreational purposes. I mean, you can party all night and be happy without using recreational drugs. And even though it is just for recreation, there are still chances that it can ruin one's life and the number of crimes might rise due to its use.

Some of the recreational drugs are quite harmless and they are just like alcohol and tobacco. So I don't agree with your views to ban all types of recreational drugs. But dangerous drugs such as methamphetamines must be banned without any exception.

Medical cannabis is legal in almost every western nation.

Recreational use will just fuck tens of thousand of people and transform them into weed zombies.

When it comes to recreational use in which I dont have any issues with but the concern is, how will government will be able to regulate that? Because even as at now where I stay and its illegal, there are several people using it especially youths who are fond of Marijuana and quite a number of them have been wasted due to what it caused to their body. I wonder what the country will turn to the moment its now being legalized in the barest minimum, I see large percentage of the youth being wasted away by this social menace.

With human medicine can become self-forgetful, arguably overconfidence. But the effect is very substantial because it must be used continuously, otherwise the person can be crazy to commit suicide, in my religion the self-destructive goods are haram or should not be used because they have no advantage to themselves

People experiment with drugs for many different reasons. Many first try drugs out of curiosity, to have a good time, because friends are doing it, in an effort to improve athletic performance or ease another problem, such as stress, anxiety, or depression. I don't care why one can take drugs but the choice of taking drugs is harming their families and friends.

90% of the time, it results from compulsion from the friends. And this happens especially when the youngsters stay away from their parents, in places such  as college hostels and dormitories.

There's nothing really bad about it in itself, other than people who make bad decisions tend to use them. Two separate things.

Why you want to ban weed? It is less harmful than tobacco or alcohol. I still don't understand the reason why marijuana is illegal in most of the countries, and at the same time dangerous drugs such as Oxycodone and Hydromorphone are perfectly legal.
