Drug use is a strange thing to me. My point is, what is the benefit of taking drugs? For me it is just a crazy thing done by people who are out of control. I will never take drugs, never though a little.

As you can see in the subject, what is your opinion on a recreational use of drugs? So far I've noticed that guys that do drugs like mdma, ecstasy, cocaine, weed(if you consider it a drug, I don't tho) are lowlifes that are in the setting of "Let's get wasted, party and then do some more drugs" and nothing else but they always look at themselves as something higher than the others.

What is your opinion on that and is it the same at your place?

Yeah there are countries that found this effective. Things such as marijuana has been legalized but regulated and addiction to it declined. Though there are also places where this backfired. It probably needs to have more studies first before beig applied to a large area.

Yeah there are countries that found this effective. Things such as marijuana has been legalized but regulated and addiction to it declined. Though there are also places where this backfired. It probably needs to have more studies first before beig applied to a large area.

Where did it backfire and why do you think it did so?

I don't think that it has backfired anywhere. Even some of the American states recently legalized recreational marijuana. The results have been overwhelmingly positive. Till now, I haven't heard about any negative consequences.

I don't agree with the statement that those who use drugs are more prone to drugs either. While different types of alcohol provides a fairly same effect on people, drugs are way too diverse. Let's say, natrium benzoate, or simply caffeine, is also considered a drug. We're pretty much all drug users around here.

Drugs are drugs and they can not be of use no matter how they try to call it. Medicine needs to actively develop and develop safe methods of treatment, rather than poisoning the body with drugs.

recreational use of drug for me is good the love and dependency for drug is the root. as per drug has addictive contents, we can control ourselves upon consuming it. i have known drug users turn to be normal and that is because they control thereselves. and some drugs has medicinal effects like marijuana for alziemers.

I didn't try any drugs when I was young.  Have tried recently and you have to be careful not to get addicted these will drain away all your money.

This is correct. depending on the user's mental health, emotional stability, self control etc... Some drugs will make you feel so good, its unbelievable. Then a weak person would be desperately trying to achieve that one incredible high over and over again, before they know it, it has become a a problem, which they will obivously keep denying, and things will only get worse, when someone tries to prove it to the abuser.

Its the same thing with alcohol. People don't realize that they are abusing alcohol, they just drink without giving it too much thought.

Rather than just saying "according to some research", you should be specific about the results from the study and the identity of the researcher. A lot of studies have also confirmed the medicinal properties of the cannabis oil, and its effectiveness in treatment against cancer.
