Your opinion on recreational drug use

Drugs created to forget problems and struggles for a while. Drugs can help people to survive in an hour. Drugs can make users happy ever after the limit effect of it. Drugs can feel you very very very high like you are flying in the sky without any hindrances on your way. Drugs can help your body healthy in outward appearance. These all are what drugs can do that seems very helpful in friendly way. But don't forget that life created with limit. Drugs true effect will come sooner that make everything worst in your life. Drugs is not advisable to use in recreation. The long term bad effect will make your life miserable that to the point of very crazy days of life. The darkness will over power the life of drug user.

As you can see in the subject, what is your opinion on a recreational use of drugs? So far I've noticed that guys that do drugs like mdma, ecstasy, cocaine, weed(if you consider it a drug, I don't tho) are lowlifes that are in the setting of "Let's get wasted, party and then do some more drugs" and nothing else but they always look at themselves as something higher than the others.

What is your opinion on that and is it the same at your place?

The only drug that is acceptable is weed(I dont treat it as drugs).Majority of the drugs are very addictive and makes people go crazy and high.Weed is relaxing and it has a lot of benefits.It shoukd be legalize all over the world.Cops are ignoring them anyway,they cool with it but if its other drugs,you better run cause they will catch you.Weed is not that addictive.You can live without it actually.Compared to other drugs, weed doesnt have this urges to use.

Why are you of the opinion that the only acceptable drug is weed? And why don't you treat it as a drug when that's exactly what it is? And weed might not be generally considered that addictive but many people do get addicted to it. I agree with all drug decriminalization, though. I don't think it's any right of the government to tel people what they can and can't put in their own body, and that's why I support people's choice to do drugs recreationally just as long as they're not hurting any one else.

I agree that weed is the most acceptable. But it's a drug too like  even if it's not so addictive. We cannot deny that there is an addition at least a mental addiction. And it is a bit appart from the other drug as it is legalized in some countries

Recreational drugs are different from hard drugs such as heroin and opium, and are mostly harmless. Have you ever heard of anyone dying as a result of over-dose from smoking marijuana? Even I haven't tried any of these drugs till now. But that doesn't mean that I have the right to infringe in the personal liberty of others and ask them to stop consuming drugs.

I do not have an issue with it in itself.
The main issues are possibly linked to the taboo we have as a society against it. If instead of locking people up, for them to only come out and re-offend again, we actually attempted to get those people help with their issues, then I imagine we'd see a lot less of the issues we normally do associated with drug use.

If we put people in jail (especially the youth) for these silly issues, then the chances are that they will become hardcore criminals once they finish their prison sentence. I would favor the offenders being let-off with a warning, at least for the first time. Not that I think taking recreational drugs is an offense. But that is how the society works.

Even I haven't tried any of these drugs till now. But that doesn't mean that I have the right to infringe in the personal liberty of others and ask them to stop consuming drugs.

They're not exactly harmless, but they're far safer than alcohol and tobacco which are commonly accepted across most societies. There are numerous positive benefits to some of the "recreational drugs" as well, which puts a new light to their classification as schedule X drugs with no medical value. I'm pretty sure that a few decades from now humans will have a very different outlook on recreational drug use due to the renaissance of research in these substances.

drugs is not good to our health, it will cause cardiovascular conditions ranging from abnormal heart rate to heart attacks. Injected drugs can also lead to collapsed veins and infections of the blood vessels and heart valves.

Don't get me wrong, I am not a drug advocate.  I am just saying that you are more likely to suffer a heart attack from eating crappy food than you are to dying from pot smoking.

That's precisely what they did quite successfully up to this day. But with the resurgence in research that will become harder and harder, if not impossible. Especially when you consider that everybody has access to safe sources these days, and that it's much easier to get educated about the truth and disposing of propaganda. Younger people are much more open minded towards substances than older generations are too, and they will be the ones making the laws in a few decades.
