In 2024. After zcash 2nd halving it wouldn’t surprise me if zcash is trading substantially higher then bitcoin and at any rate 110 dollars is dirt cheap for zcash

Considering that Zcash is a private coin, what measures are in place to record hacks? Let’s say, if coins were duplicated from a hack, how would Zcash know what coins were fake?

This merger will not happen because Zcash is private and unique platform so if this rumor is true , ZEC will become false and disappointed in this project.
Now it 's still at cheap price and this is a nice chance to hold some coins at this period, guy.

I've been using this on command line for some time. The way the zaddress works is just brilliant stuff. No question this is gonna be the coin for the big players to move their money through. Its a solid option lots of miners to secure the network. No trace of zaddresses on the blockchain. And you can leave your coins on your zaddress if you like, don't necessarily have to move it immediately out back to a t address.

Very interesting tech that i've been toying around with for a good year or so now. I would highly recommend it to anyone, no doubt about it.

I doubt any gpu miner in the zec network.  The gpu has long lost this blockchain to asic.  Get real.

Things are still looking bright for Zcash although I don't think the sapling release will really bring any kind of upside to the price, market is still extremely bearish, especially in the alts.

The biggest thing to take away here is that Zcash has many attributes that lead me to think its a prime candidate to be accumulating at these levels. Here are some of my thoughts and why i have been accumulating over the past months:

1. Gemini NYC approval for listing and custody, perfect exposure to institutional investors

2. Perfect blend of privacy and transparency, a user can either be public or private with their funds, nothing against Monero but a 100% private coin will never be seen as "Ok" in big brothers eyes.

3. zk-Snarks tech, been adopted by sooo many other coins because they realize the benefits of it

4. Pending coinbase addition, I believe it will be added to the $25 dollar minimum bundle purchase meaning anyone will be able to buy it with credit card.

5. In my opinion it's the BEST implementation of the zerocoin protocol, founder block rewards keep tech advancing and development rolling (devs dont work for free), backed by legitimate company and early devs of zerocoin protocol implemented Zcash in line with it.

6. Embracing Asics leads to enterprise level mining which yields a much stronger network.

Now I know alot of people would debate me on several points but market cap shows Zcash stands alone still as the highest market cap coin with zerocoin protocol and one of the top tier privacy coins.
