Ah you mean the estimates. I'm not 100% sure about them, better check www.whattomine.com and enter your hashrate and zec there, their estimates are a bit positive too but they usually match pretty good. I have them in my header on the pool as well

The pool is showing about 50% higher payout then actual over days of mining ocminer.

Yes what to mine" is very accurate. I have compared not only ZEC but ETH, ETC, EXP, XMR, Sia, all hit nearly within .001 earnings as it projected/estimated.

I use for years OCMINERS pools, great pools, but the projected earnings have always been higher than actual. But that's ok,,, pools are stable and payouts flow with little waiting time.

I have a serious question about ZCash

The devs could not make their own ANN thread and be part of the community. The devs are probably never going to publicaly discuss if they will implement updates as ZEC needs it down the road much like how BTC is demanding SegWit now and how there will likely be demand for LN

BTC works where the miners have to make the changes happen which unfortunately mining has gotten centralized, but with ZEC we are looking at a bunch of whales from the founders fee (10% of total emission across the whole team isn't that bad imo) who are in full control of this unless I am mistaken about how the ZEC governance works

Do you guys really think this coin has a future as the value is slowly falling to the pump and dump? Do you think that ZEC will adapt over time as demands are put onto it to become what BTC will probably fall short on? I'm thinking long term where we have only a few solid cryptocurrencies and not this giant mess of new coins rising and falling.

Its still fairly buggy as is the original source so if it doesnt seem to be generating addresses test the 3rd character by itself first and see if you get errors, its the hash mismatching error creeping up.  Also be sure to test any output first before actually using it!

For me 'what to mine' projected earnings are nearly 95% identical to the actual mining zec on suprnova pool. This is a very good result and I like to mine many coins with suprnova for a long time. Zec mining now give a good profit which can be invested in another cheap altcoins.
