ICO ArchitectureThe structure of the vSlice application is composed of three smart contracts, each of them handling a different aspect of the ICO. The three smart contracts interact with each other, and with the vDice contract, as better explained by the graphs below:

First off, I would like to say I really like the concept of your website. I haven't seen too many websites that send money to gamble and get your money back. As I'm not really familiar with Ethereum, do you know any exchange website I could instantly change from BTC -> ETH and after it finishes gambling, it gets sent to an ETH -> to BTC? I would really love to try your website!

Great to hear that. There are almost all the website that are offering this pair exchange. Like Kraken Cex polo yobit etc When you'll send the money to one of the contract given in the vDice, if you win, you will automatically get paid in ETH within seconds.

Thanks for the compliment. Our developers work super hard. If you want to instantly change from BTC > ETH, shapeshift.io is the easiest. We have built the world's 1st LIVE, FULLY Decentralized Gambling Platform. Basically, all gambling games are built on some database. There are 2 types of gambling games: 1). Non-Blockchain (Central Database) Gambling. It works the same as an exchange service. You send your ETH to the game owners. They record your ETH balance in their own database. You have to trust the people who run the game. 2). Blockchain Gambling (Decentralised). At vDice.io our games use the Ethereum blockchain as the database. So there are no accounts. We NEVER touch your money. Instead, you play directly from your own wallet. You send ETH directly to the Smart Contract, on the Ethereum blockchain. The Smart Contract processes the bet, and returns the win directly to your wallet. You only have to trust the Smart Contract. Hi,
What will happen if the token aren't sold out after the ICO period?
To clarify, the distribution doesn't work like that. We haven't premined a bunch of tokens for sale. Instead:The ‘vSlice’ token Smart Contract will be deployed and people who contribute will receive: - Week 1 = 1 : 130 - Week 2 = 1 : 120 - Weeks 3 & 4 = 1 : 100 for each Ether (ETH) they send, for the 1-month of the issuance. So, for example; 100 ETH will get 13,000 vSlice tokens, up until the cap of 700,000 ETH. This cap is a max. upper limit mainly for security reasons. The Crowdsale Smart Contract is fully decentralised. That is, the sending of Ether (ETH) to the Token Smart Contract will result in the immediate, and decentralised, issuance of the contributors vSlice tokens on the Ethereum blockchain. Hope that clears it up for you. So does that mean the total coin supply could be less than 96 million?

Plan - 7500000$ I think big boys will buy a large percentage of tokens (70%-90%). They bought all tokens of singular and first blood. Firstblood sold out in 3 minutes. Singular sold out in 13 minutes. These projects wanted to get 7500000$ like Vdice

I think the good thing about this campaign is the cap, there is no need to waste time on ICO once your cap has been reached, SNGLs and Firstblood proof that, once people believe in your project they will put it in their plan and invest. I wish you guys the best

One thing I haven't tested yet is sending back currency through the address that was generated. For example, if I was to change BTC -> ETH and after I gamble, it would send back the ETH to the original ETH address I had, but would that ETH address necessarily be linked to my BTC? Is there an option on your website where I could change the destinated address where I would receive my funds?

It is really nice to see the whole smart contract thing being implemented in a fashion like this. As I only have a basic understanding of ETH smart contracts, I never knew gambling with them was a possibility. It opens up a whole new realm of options for crypto based gambling businesses, especially ones that choose to use ETH.

I've done some research into the project, and while it seems very promising (as it decentralizes a big and centralized part of the cryptocurrency ecosystem) there are a few things that were poorly laid out. If you take a look at the Business plan, here are two example claims: Bitcoin is the first blockchain. Bitcoin has a market cap. of around $10 billion. Bitcoin is huge for gambling. Around 50-60% of ALL Bitcoin transactions are gambling.
There is no source listed for this. You should expect similar results for Ethereum, very soon.
This is a very hard assumption that was made in the business plan, one which could quite *easily* backfire.
I'm not sure why the Whitepaper uses built in links instead of listing sources? I was also interested in whether there were any plans to also bring this to Bitcoin via a smart contract platform such as Rootstock?

I guess it depends on how bullish you are on Ethereum generally.
Well, that wasn't really the point that I was trying to make here. Regardless of whether ETH becomes successful or not, you're making an assumption that 50-60% of the transactions are going to be gambling (it is quite common for initial business plans to fail because of wrong assumptions). If you think Ethereum has a future, then it needs Dapps.
I agree that Dapps are an interesting concept. We did this on Ethereum 'cause it was so utterly interesting and available. If we can do it on rootstock with Bitcoin, then why not. We'll have to dive into the Rootstock code.
You should definitely look into it and possibly add it into your development plan (if Rootstock is already ready for something like this). Decentralized gambling in Bitcoin would be a huge benefit considering the risks involved in a centralized gambling industry. The ICO will surely be able to fund such an expansion.

We started life as Bitcoiners back in 2011 (those annoying types who get obsessed with it).
We did this on Ethereum 'cause it was so utterly interesting and available. If we can do it on rootstock with Bitcoin, then why not. We'll have to dive into the Rootstock code.
But we still think Ethereum has a very, very bright future. We're more convinced of that now, as we build with it more.
So you started with Bitcoin and as soon something technically better (at that time) with more possibilities (DAPPS, smart contracts) showed up you switched over. Will you guarantee that in the future when we possibly may see even more advanced altcoin with better, futuristic solutions implemented you won't ditch your current project and switch again? I mean current ETH blockchain has some limitations as well.
