There is a bug that caused some wallets and Znodes to get stuck on an earlier block.

Check the current block height by going to https://explorer.zcoin.io or https://chainz.cryptoid.info/xzc/

If the block height does not match, please follow the instructions here to apply the fix:
https://zcoinkb.wordpress.com/2018/03/28/znode-stuck-on-block-80421/

We apologize for the inconvenience caused and have identified the problem and will be putting out a new release soon that fixes this.

I'm reindexing the blocks for the 4th time on win7 for the new wallet version. But when reindexing is done, it shows as if the wallet is fully sync but in fact I'm lagging over 150 blocks on the chain and my recent transfers are not appearing on my address. Also during the night, it moved from blocks 80406 to 80408 (advanced 2 blocks in 8 hours!) but we're currently at block 80550... But still the wallet says fully sync and up to date?!

Do you have v0.13.5.7?

Also, this if you have not already: https://zcoinkb.wordpress.com/2018/03/28/znode-stuck-on-block-80421/

Try updating to windows10.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure that's the exact same problem addressed at the link you provided! That should do it! *Edit: It did it!

Glad I could be of some help.

Glad to hear quick warning message from you about bugs which resulted in unexpected stucks of Zcoin wallets and Znodes in the network. Fortunately, I have checked my wallet, it is on the right track. Anyway, highly appreciate your guideline to fix problems for users who got them.
By the way, official new version of Zcoin wallets to fix them automatically for users is better approach (which I believe you will do it for sure) because there are lots of users who are not familiar with technical steps to fix those issues.

We should hope for at least x8 from where it is now.  It will take a huge influx of new money to dig us out of this hole. Just hope they are able to get MTP implemented soon so us miners can stay above water.

The link seems to be working fine for me:

https://zcoin.io/guide-on-how-to-mine-zcoin-xzc/

Hello! Tell me please, what benefits will I get if I have the tokens of your project?

Operate a Znode (masternode) https://zcoin.io/faq/

"What are the expected returns from a Znode?

A fixed amount (30%) of the block reward (15 XZC with current block reward) is paid to Znodes. Znodes are put in a queue and take turns to receive this block reward. Depending on the number of Znodes active, the payout will be once every few days.

The amount of returns depend on how many active Znodes there are. The more Znodes there are, the less each Znode gets. Based on 50% of circulating Zcoin being made into Znodes, we estimate the first year’s return to be in the region of 20-30+% per annum."

ZCOIN 260 GHS, block time 7 mins ? WTF....

yeah, the difficulty was too high now to low, not really averaging out to 10 mins.

It is more like 285 GH/s last few hours.

Is it that the performance of AMD has been greatly improved? like VTC mining software?

Damn does the AMD work that bad for lyra2? The difference between my Nvidia and AMD cards is just frightening Smiley
Is there any sense in even mining with AMD cards?

As far as I know there isn't an AMD miner that works worth spit with this algorithm.  There is a Lyra2v2 miner that works well for AMD, so it's possible that someday someone will develop one that works equally well for Lyra2z. Since ZCoin has been planning to move to their new algorithm for quite awhile now, I don't think there's much incentive for a developer to spend time on a new miner right now.

what is the maximum reserve for this coin?

You can find all the answers on webpage https://zcoin.io/faq/

What is the total supply and distribution for Zcoin?
There will be 21.4 million Zcoins. Zcoin follows the same halving cycle as Bitcoin (every 4 years).

It was originally planned that 20% of Zcoins (10 XZC per block) in the first 4 years will be distributed to the Founders’ Reward which is equivalent to 10% of total supply. The Founders’ Reward consists of Poramin Insom (lead dev and Founder) (4%), seed investors (12%) and the team wallet (4%).

However upon the launch of Znodes, the Founders and the team have agreed to reduce this to 14% of the block reward: 2% Poramin Insom, seed investors (6%) and team wallet (6%).

To find out how the Founder’s Rewards are used, see here.

After the first 4 years, the block reward goes completely towards the miners and Znode rewards.
