I have invested in Zcash. But recently there was more information about 51% attacks. Has anyone here explained to me how hackers can 51% attacks on Zcash and how to stop it?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

If your wallet is not syncing and you have a message like "no more block source available", make the wallet last update (...6.3).
Not necessary for masternodes.
Edit : currently, 500 masternodes are off...

hi, i was about to transfer some coins to bittrex, but its deposit window notified that "Block updated 3141 minutes ago" and rising, does that mean it will take ~50 hours for the coins to go throught? https://i.imgur.com/DIfmwJW.jpg |

Yes, since 3 days, there is a lot of sync issues with the XZC blockchain... Is it because some of the nodes not updated to the latest version or is there something else causing the problem? |

Does anyone from zcoin know if 51% attacks are possible and what is the cost? Because it has been plauging crypto for past few weeks, severral coins have got attacked
What is the way to protect the coin from all this?

@jackbox I wasn't talking about market or prices, I was talking about MINING. Theses were the mining stats of Mining Pool Hub... Why do miners need to mine around 150% of what we supposed to? I understand that it can happen for a day but.... Why this ''bad luck'' keeps on going for months and why this is unaddressed? Obviously some entity been owning more of 51% of the Zcoin hashrate for a long time... Is that entity manipulating the nonces to ease up the work for himself, or some others shady tricks? Or this ''bad luck'' for others just naturally happen when someone own more than 51% of the hashrate... Just looking for the truth on why the mining scene on Zcoin is in such bad state... For me and for now, crypto prices/markets fluctuations are unimportant, real projects and real communities are.
