First of all, you would have an option to receive refund if it fails to get 2000 Bitcoin. Ark would be launching in any case. It is your decision if you still want to keep the investment or not.

In any ICO, you get the refund in the same currency you deposited. They don't convert any of your investment to any other cryptocurrency before the ico ends.

If you request a refund of course the coin you put in would be refunded. What do you expect? If you go to the shop and buy a product then return it do they give you back gold instead of your local currency?
If you put money into an investment fund do they make pay outs in oil?

ARK doesn't need to reach the 2000btc, they will launch ark anyway without the much funds.
the team should contact those who wants to refund and give then their lisk / btc before the launch so they could not dump their ark later. this is to ensure non of them are up for easy profit.

Honestly, if you bought Ark with Lisk then the price should be determined at the moment of the transaction. I know it's more difficult to calculate but that should be how it operates. But I'm not complaining. Everyone who bought in with Lisk will be at the same playing field doing the median thing.

If ARK doesn't met the minimum threshold by this Sunday, 11th of December, 19:00 UTC you will be able to request the refund if you wish so, but we are still continuing on with this project and if you wish you can opt to stay in the project and receive ARK tokens for your exchange when we start the main net no later than 1st of Feb - choice is yours, ARK is here to stay and deliver .

What will happen if every/almost all investors decided to call for refund. Is the project still going to go on.

It's a very unlikely condition. I think almost all will not take refund.

If all take back their money, so it's obvious that the project cannot start.

Actually, it's very nice that ark is giving opportunity to take refund as it is starting with lower investment. Many other ico just start below threshold and funny give option of refund.

Think its a good idea to continue the project even if the full threshold isnt met. 1 million USD is more than enough for ARK's success, especially considering that most of the ARK TEC funds are in Lisk which is at an all time low at a time when Lisk forging is just starting and they have now access to their 11 million USD ICO funds. Likelihood is that ARK TEC funds will rise in value over next few months pre mainnet launch as Lisk price rises. Smart model taking Lisk funds I think as their value is much more liekly to rise in comparison with Bitcoins. Smart!

Lisk price is at an all-time low however they are supposed to have access to their own ICO funds which were held in escrow. Their funds are valued at 11million USD based on todays bitcoin value. If they rise (more potential than bitcoin to rise).. the Lisk in the ARK TEC escrow value will rise too. ARK being a better project will hit the moon!
