If you use Ubuntu, you can build it very easy.

1. Dependencies

First install all dependencies to build https://github.com/xcicoin/xcicoin You should be able to build xcicoin from source before continue. Next, install Qt5. https://wiki.qt.io/Main Next, clone repositories and build. You can do it with the following commands if you run use Ubuntu:

About two days ago i build my first gui wallet ever, just for XCI. On ubuntu it's very easy! 

btw: http://xci.acidminer.org/ 5 miners connected. I like!

can someone build a windows gui ?

why in simplewallet  we cannot use cut and past from clipboard ?
to difficult to use  if we need to type all the stuff each time

it s also why i give up on monero, with no gui i was not able to get my coins out my wallet,
i m not even able to write my password, because is t to much hard to write with keyboard i cannot cut and past from my txt file
 i gonna try again sometimes

question why is it only pow?   would be better if it was pow & pos

You can! Simply enable quick edit mode!
Just right click on the windowframe from your wallet and enable it under properties.

I like it and I kept the network when there were problems with the network on gorila Pool and http://5.189.135.137/. but all my coins are lost due to network problems and blockchain. so I wrote the developer to compensate me for the loss. let's see what he has to say.

do you have your .wallet files?
what is your problem? You have your wallet files and can't open it? You have your .wallet backups, right?
If you have your .wallet files there should be no problem to operate your funds.

fyi:
My Avast had sent the xciwallet.exe (automatically) with CyberCapture to their lab.
It did the same with the simple wallet before and i got it back a few hours later, all clean!  
Now it tells me their scan will be ready in about 39min. I expect a good result again!  

Good work dev.!  

btw: still no problems with my self compiled gui wallet on ubuntu and the offered simpled wallet by xcicoin! It's all smooth!

You get you transactions confirmed? 0.001 should be the normal XCIcoin min fee.
