I am going to buy a rig from them.  I learned a long time ago  that pushing the coins  is more important then profit from the coins. (profit is still nice)

I would hope to get a better deal from them  then I did on the first rig.

But I am going to buy one of these anyway.

I like to be more independent and not owe good reviews for  builders of gear in turn for free gear.

But a decent discount I will take if they give it to me.

They sold out the first set of 500 units pretty fast  and gpu gear is in demand  so they will sell this out if the price is okay.

My suggestion to them is try to use 470's with 8gb of ram.

Not 480's with 4 gb of ram.

I am looking forward to an email with some kind of an offer from them.

470 8G is a big win, if not the biggest win..

I can push those higher than any other cards out there  Wink

Yes, this is what I am waiting for 470/8gb/decent CPU/Eliovp wicked custom roms.

Some mining apps needs a decent slightly better than Celeron.

Onboard RAM although not mandatory esp in Linux, but can be proven useful for mods and miner apps so that everything runs at wire speed.

And the SRR connectivity will be a big bonus so that each Pandaminer is a farm-aware mining rig.

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...

I'd happily write a review. I was extremely critical of you guys at pandaminer when you first made this thread, but your company and product has turned out to be pretty fantastic it seems (minus a few little speed bumps such as Chinese OS).

If selected, I'll write up an extremely thorough review. That will include an in depth analysis, lots of high quality photography and 4K video shot with very high end equipment, and a complete tear-down of the hardware. This process would take between 1 to 2 weeks of work before putting the completed review up.

I'm ready to eat crow for being wrong about you guys.

Hi Pandaminer Team,

Can you integrate this device "RIG RESETTER" into the Pandaminer?

More information at "https://simplemining.net/page/simpleRigResetter"

This device has kept my farm to near 100% uptime by monitoring rigs and keeping them online.

I think this device will only improve Pandaminers overall performance in mining farms.

My current Pandaminer is also running smOS Linux, a mining OS also developed by the same developer.

Very stable Linux OS and also compatible with Pandaminer hardware.

In the Pandaminer, only 4 standard pins is used by this device, following the standard power/reset pin on a standard motherboard.

For your consideration please.

Thanks

citronick

yeah it would make the pandaminer 1 step better then it is now.

I have been told you may sell an 8 gpu model using rx 470's  if so  consider using a gpu card with 8gb ram not 4gb.

My pandaminer  has been mining zec  with 1145 core   2000 mem 1 volt setting ..  on smOS
It just runs and runs and runs

It's a question of supply to some degree.. AMD makes the MXM parts, not the AIBs and with the flip over to the newer cards happening now at the manufacturing level I suspect they are going to run lean on 480 parts in the near term, but can augment with 470 4G parts at maybe $20-30 less per card, resulting in more units and more profit...

I have a bunch of pandas and yes i was very critical of preorder because of getting ripped off.  I went ahead and took the risk and as soon as I got it in and started to test it, omg i quickly ordered more then wanted even more but they went out of stock.  Solid product out of the box, well built and a price point that is sickening.  When I say that, i mean it in a good way!  I am currently waiting to buy 20 possibly 40 more of them.  I build my own and have a farm of 55 - 6 card units i built and some pandas there as well.  I will now only buy pandas just because they work right out of the box.  I know for a fact AMD will keep the MXM socket for the next 5 years so i'm not to worried about upgrade-ability.  The pros highly outweigh the cons.  Id love to see a 470 8gb setup.

2017 being a year for cryptocurrency mining... every compute device needs to be leveraged to mine.

The 4 GPUs with Dual Mining (CPU and GPU)?

8GB RAM, 4 x GPU with a decent i5 or i7 CPU

Could this be the right optimum config?

Not very expensive, compact, ideal for a large farm.

Plus there's some guy who managed to raise hash even more and reduce power.. so yeah, you can turn it however you want, it is a very interesting product..
