30 day warranty...sheesh.....I"m probably out.

that will end badly for a lot of folk....we all know how new miner equipment just works 'dandy' out of the box the first 30 days Smiley

sheesh..man up and make a 1 year warranty will ya?

Old Style Legacy Plug & Play BBS System. Get it from www.synchro.net. Updated 1/1/2021. It also works with Windows 10 and likely 11 and allows 16 bit DOS game doors on the same Win 10 Machine in Multi-Node! Five Minute Install! Look it over it uninstalls just as fast, if you simply want to look it over. Freeware! Full BBS System! It is a frigging hoot!:)

i thought about the same, i orderd 1 unit for testing, but it will most likely stay at that one unit. I think one of the big problems is you invest quite a lot slightly more than with a usual GPU Rig but you have to take all the Risk, if a card die you cannot replace it and even more important you have no warranty. With a Rig you build on your own, you can replace each part and have warranty for 24 month.

as a sidenote i thought a second about been a Distributor for Europe and oder 30 units or so, but  i would have to take the Warranty Risk for 24 Month and that would be Huge and i would have to add at least 50% on the Price to cover the Risk.

you don't need cooling, actually cooling is a waste of money past a few units.  I own a HVAC company, trust me I know.  What you need is exchanges of air.  I have 40 miners with 6000 cfm or air being sucked out and 6000 cfm of make up air coming in to a 200 sq foot room.  With filtration etc...  I live in Texas and this summer it was 105 outside and my gpu's never exceeded 70-72 and right now they are at 50.

To put it into perspective, 6000 cfm is enough air for 8000 sq foot of building.

Now if you plan on being in that same room i recommend building a little room inside there and adding a wall unit to cool you hehe.

I meant fans not ac but I was lazy and did not write it out fully.

If this gear is worth while  maybe a trusted usa guy can be a distributor of it.

I am retired and may not want that much work.  but we can just let it unfold starting tomorrow.  gear is in cincinnati

I inquired about a dist in the USA but it's not worth it to peddle their wares.  you make like 50 bucks a unit.  Then to repair units in or out of warranty he wants you to buy the parts in advace to hold a stock then if you get one for repair you use your parts and then the distributor is stuck with sending the stuff to china on the dist dime.  That is a bad deal from the word go.  Good luck signing chumps up for that deal.  If you were smart you would have a USA repair center and not try to screw them.

LOL, usually the Vendor pays the Distri for their Services and not the other way around...

At this price you can build very nice 6 cards rig (24-36 mounts warranty) and resell at minim 70% of baseline value ,when it is no longer profitable

my unit is on the truck  so lets say 1 to 4 hours before it arrives.

I have   the evga 1600 g2 to run it.

So just waiting for the arrival.

Going into all details on the site.

30 day warranty is too short.

and still not sure if the gear arrives to all buyers quickly.

I did not contact on being a distributer of gear.

Looks like I have a big plate of crow to eat! Fantastic looking piece of kit. Sorry for being such a dick, pandaminer.

I still don't see the point VS building your own 6, 7, or 8 GPU rig, though. 1 month warranty VS 3 years on most PC components. Absolutely no market when it comes time to sell the hardware or upgrade.. Huge import taxes for anyone not living in the US. But this is good for quick deployment and people who are clueless when it comes to building a PC.

Two flaws Chinese windows 10 build in China is very hard to make English.

The power button is really small.

But it is really compact.

If you have good air circulation you can do 2x the units,in the Same space.

any early pix Phil?

maybe take pix along side a standard GPU to get a perspective on actual size.

esp on the power pins, USB, etc.

I think you can update the English pack via control panel, and manually switch languages at task bar.

I posted this on Phil's thread for the review, but I figured I better ask here also.  What are the upgrade options for this miner?  When the next generation of gpu's hits the market can these miners be upgraded to better gpu's?  Just looking for ways to preserve some of the investment like you would typically do with a gpu rig.

That's very nice to hear this GPU miners. This compact helps many people use it easily and fastly.
you don't need much experience about setting up GPUs . I like it and will buy 2 sets for mining.

ROI on gpus has gone from 1 month a year ago to now 7-9 months.
Its very likely that they will never meet ROI unless something very special happens in altcoins

ROI  changes constantly  it is  part of the risk of mining

I am mining zec and I list all my zec  for sale at .072 on an exchange   vs the current price of .048

one up tick  and  I do will do very well.

Of course that uptick may never happen and oh well.

Well, this is really new for me, especially the company. But from my research it seems to be a serious business.
Congratulations, and I hope this is a solution for people who are interested in mining, as I am.
