I came back to this thread to see if there is something new that will happen but find things worsen. Where can we find the link to the updates about them asking for KYC? All for the 4k NEM and bout 0.04BTC, I am in the dilemma whether to fill the details to be verify by the exchange. If you were on my shoe, would you submit the KYC all for these amount?
I am also not sure if I'll complete KYC but have $400+ stuck there and don't want to lose my tokens. Earlier I managed to withdraw my BTC but if they won't be sure that they'll give me tokens back, submitting KYC would be of no use. I haven't taken a screenshot as well of my balance and hence know the USD amount which is of 2 tokens only.

I would not send my KYC to these people. Simple. I'm wondering if they are banking on that occurring by most people?

I would not send my KYC to these people. Simple. I'm wondering if they are banking on that occurring by most people? That is precisely what they are banking. It will lessen their workload and it will mean larger payments for the users that did send KYC.

Get email. Anybody else? Hi there, As you are aware Grant Thornton have been engaged to conduct the liquidation of Cryptopia. As part of this process a number of developers of the coins/tokens previously supported by Cryptopia have been in contact with Grant Thornton to discuss various options for the future treatment of their respective coins/tokens. Given the scale, complexity and unique nature of the Cryptopia situation it is desirable to develop a collaborative relationship with the developer community. We hold the view that engagement with the developer community in a meaningful, productive and efficient manner to address the issues raised will result in a far more positive outcome for all parties. To that end we would like to invite you to attend a webinar/skype session at 9am October 7th (NZ time) where we can discuss the current situation, outline our intent and plan and provide the opportunity for Q&A. To summarise the key takeaways for this session are: 1. Provide an introduction to Grant Thornton and understanding of the liquidation process. Including an overview of the process and desired outcomes. 2. An opportunity for Grant Thornton to understand any issues or concerns the Developers currently have. 3. Develop a platform and opportunity for future collaboration in working with Grant Thornton to ensure the best outcome for Cryptopia customers, developers and the broader crypto community. If you would like to participate in this kick off session please let us know and I will send the appropriate invite. If you are unable to make this session then please feel free to reach out to me and we can discuss the plans directly. In either case, if you could note the name of the coin you’re representing in your reply, that would be great. We believe engagement is a vital element to the overall success of the liquidation and a positive message for the crypto community at large. I really hope you can join us and I look forward to our conversation. ^Did not receive any such email. Why were you contacted with regards to the liquidation? It mentions not useful information but only about what happened in the session. Did all other cryptopia users receive this email?

Most likely not, you didn't, his wife, and so do I. The last email I received from them was about the update on the "progress" they are making after the hack (that was long time ago). Reading the email message, it looks like it was supposed to be sent to coin/token developers.

9am in NZ (GMT+12) is...
7am in Australia GMT+10 (East Coast, which includes Brisbane) 5am in Singapore, China etc GMT+8 12:00am in Russia MSK (eg Moscow) GMT+3 9pm (previous day) in UK (eg London) GMT+0 5pm (previous day) in USA EDT (eg New York) GMT-4 2pm (previous day) in USA PDT (eg Los Angeles) GMT-7
Seems a strange time to schedule a meeting of international partners, since much of the world will be outside business hours at that time.

New Zealand is where Cryptopia was based, I guess it follows that the company running the show can also dictate terms. Having said that, it could be a combination of things such as the number of traders in the USA Vs other parts of the world. It could also be that traders will log in at various times (including midnight) given the global nature of the exchange. Don't forget the Northern Hemisphere are observing daylight savings in many places, so some of those times may not be 100% correct - UK for example.

I didn't get any email either, I guess they don't send them out to people who held less than $1 in their shitshow-of-an-exchange! Most likely it's a fake one though, just a hanch!

Me too, no email message received. I hope this doesn't take as long as the Mt. Gox settlement. That is what? Going six years already? My poor shitcoins are stuck forever.

When cryptopia exchange will working? Is there database saved and restored? WTF? Where is our crypto? Can I turn back my altcoins, if I have the last screen of my account? Many coins, which traded on cryptopia was been delisted, after the problems with cryptopia... If I did deposit BTC there, and if I have transaction hash, and if I can sign the message by privkey from my address, can I turn back MY OWN BTC?
