Yes probably. Do you guys think the better strategy would be to sell just before the fork and just buy Bitcoin Private at the beginning, or wait after the snapshot and hope the price fall will be lower than the starting price for BTCP ?

As far as im concerned when trading/buying zcl just now it is actually btcp futures we're trading, if the fork was taking place tomorrow the price would be double what it is just now, imo at least as for your question its a gd one and one i dont know the answer too, mabye folks who have lived through these moments more than me could offer more valuble opinions cheers

Hi everyone,
Got a few questions regarding the fork: Snapshot and fork date have been officially announced. 1. Do I understand it right in saying that both BTC and ZCL coins owner will get BTCP coins at the time of the fork? 2. What will be the ratio? 1ZCL for 1BTCP and 1BTC for 1BTCP? 3. Will my ZCL wallet need to be online/synched at the time of the snapshot? else how would they know how many ZCL i own? same Q goes for BTC, no need for external wallet here? 4. One can expect a surge in ZCL and BTC price around the time of the snapshot...?
thx

Mac Wallet is working and I was able to import my private key, as well as setup encryption. The fiat options don't appear to be working yet, but I'll take what I can get considering I was running the java swing wallet in a Windoz vm until today. Great work!!!

1. yes 2. yes 3. no to needing to be 'online' (the blockchain will record all-the -things), but your ZCL/BTC will need to be at an address you control (in a wallet or on an exchange that will support the fork - just get it into a wallet you control the keys for, that's safest) 4. one can expect a surge or a drop or both

Improve mining pool share/hash rates with the aiostratum-proxy (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3179895) stratum mining proxy.

Obviously there is still no pump cause the announcement, the only pump you will see, will be some days/week before the snapshot date. There, the game will be interesting!

i think the pump already happened as some knew about upcoming fork much earlier than it was announced probably there will be another one, but just a small one.

Forgive my noobishness but i've heard estimates for BTCP launching at anywhere from $300-1000 or so (since ZCL will probably finish at 300-400 a day or 2 before the fork). But... I've heard that BTCP will have a coin supply of BTC's plus ZCL's current? That'd be around 20m coins. So for BTCP to launch at $300 itd have to have a market cap of $6 billion (which would put it at 11th or 12th most valuable crypto coin) while ZCL's market cap would be about 960m with about 3.2m coins outstanding at $300.
I'd love it if someone could explain the idea behind these estimated possibilities to me. Thanks.

I doubt ZCL will ever reach those numbers unless the hole market trend shifts a lot in the coming month.

hello zclassic community. I have a noobquestion about the electrumwallet: I downloaded the wallet and created a new wallet. somewhere in the options i could choose between "use private and public keys" or "use a phrase". I choose the "phrase"option. my wallet seems to work fine. i already transferred 1 zcls to it. but my question: i red alot about private keys and stuff for the fork, but i choose the "phrase" option when i created my zclassic electrumwallet. is my wallet good to go for the fork and will te electrum wallet also show the bitcoinprivatecoins when the fork is finished? p.s. i also choose "standard" when i created the wallet. is this ok?
thanks! good job zclassic team!

I think you will need your private key to restore equal BTCP amount on BTCP wallet supporting fork after it happens. At least it was working that way for bcash fork

You're good for now. The wallet will not automatically show BTCP coins after fork. You're on ZCL wallet right now. After the fork, you'll need to import your private key (or seed; the phrase you're talking about) into BTCP wallet to claim BTCP. What you can do now is export the private keys, and keep it safe along with the seed. Just go to menu options and you'll see an option to export private keys.

Comrade, look at the whole of the whole of the crypto currency market. See what happens to him now and think about it. Until the situation on the market stabilizes and bitcoin not starts to grow, altcoins will not show strong growth. Just wait.
