Whatever their plans might be, the're not much vocal about it. First thing they should address is a proper working wallet and explorer. I managed to get hands on a wallet that works well with my Windows but it was hard to find since the official website doesn't provide proper links. It sucks. So I'm going for the long on this project. It has taken me many man hours and research to get things in a working condition and even then it's not the way i'd like it. 1) Working block explorer - http://explorer.zclmine.pro/Thanks for this. I was searching for a working block explorer but couldn't. you saved me some effort. Follow the telegram chat. The DEV is planning meetings and updates for the Bitcoin Private fork. Can you share the telegram link? I can't find it on their official site.

Hello Zclassic community, Zclassic (or Bitcoin Private? It should still be compatible with a few minor changes after!) is available for atomic swap trading on Komodo Platform's BarterDEX! Right now, P2P, on Mainnet. Anyone can test it out if you'd like. We are taking privacy to new heights by keeping your funds and privkeys in YOUR HANDS! zK-SNARK coin Jumblr in YOUR HANDS! Liquidity of each coin is still building, but BarterDEX can pair your coin with any other of the 60+ coins on the exchange! If a team member, perhaps someone from marketing, would like to test out an atomic swap through our GUI, please send me a DM : ) Welcome to the BarterDEX decentralized exchange! Trade freely and safely, Jay

So I'm going for the long on this project. It has taken me many man hours and research to get things in a working condition and even then it's not the way i'd like it. 1) Working block explorer - http://explorer.zclmine.pro/2) Eleos for Windows fails once it get's to around 80% block sync. The only thing I can think of the reasoning being is some kind of fork that happened to ZEN...? -I was able to compile a wallet using VirtualBox and Ubuntu 16.04.3 (17.10 WILL NOT WORK) something with "libboost-system seems to be installed by default" and receive errors "configure:22357: result: no configure:22469: error: Could not link against boost_system-mt !". -With all that being said, I rented a VPS from OVH and have a full node running now to support the network. **Multiple attempts to compile Windows wallet have failed. Maybe someone who is a Linux guru can figure this out which would make life better for all of us 3) I wouldn't jump on the bandwagon of going the Bitcoin "insert shitcoin" name here. I would however consider a re-brand to: LiteZ. -If the dev is looking, I do believe that your replay protection idea is needed and should be implemented. The LiteZ name comes from my belief that Litecoin is going to be the next gen coin for fast payment transfer. It sounds like they will be the first to implement the Lightning Network technology and if Zclassic were going to implement a change, Lightning Network technology would put this coin where it needs to be. fck yes! lets do this, im buying up hard, why you ask? fork, already on bittrex, think..bitcoin gold, take a glance @ that market cap. high risk, fucking high reward. Thank you Rhett Creighton! you are doing an amazing job, look forward to seeing an official annoucncement and modification to the thread, if theres any way i can help let me know

Hello everyone. Is Zclassic is under real development? Or devs just merge code from original Zcash?

We are very happy that ZCL is still alive! We are also excited about Bitcoin Private news. As ZCL is precursor of BitcoinZ (BTCZ) and we are friendly fork created 3 months ago we decided to help ZCL / Bitcoin Private team. BitcoinZ-pod team will provide Windows wallet for ZCL! It will be quick port of BTCZ Windows wallet. We are in progress of testing ZCL Wallet. It should be ready on Tuesday. We will send update. BTCZ & ZCL addressing is compatible so you can now use BTCZ offline wallets also for ZCL: https://github.com/bitcoinz-pod/bitcoinz-mini/releases& https://github.com/bitcoinz-pod/zgenerate/releasesBitcoinZ-Pod Team

I have the same question. Where is better to keep my mined coins to recieve forked ones? If it's better to hold them in wallet, can you please recommend me one. Thank you.

https://github.com/bitcoinz-pod/bitcoinz-wallet/releases/tag/ZCL_1.1.0.3Its unofficial wallet - it should work without problems. We hope it helps Bitcoin Private / ZCL team. You can modify & re-brand this wallet there are no restrictions.
