Sure, and thats why i dont think this fork will be as golden as many people believe. No way the market will change that much in just a month.

Im suprised the fork annoncement didnt do much for the price like many people thought.
Comrade, look at the whole of the whole of the crypto currency market. See what happens to him now and think about it. Until the situation on the market stabilizes and bitcoin not starts to grow, altcoins will not show strong growth. Just wait.

In my 3-4 year experience in cryptos I would say that market can change a really f*cking lot in one month. Well that still does not mean the same that BTCP and/or ZCL will grow like hell in that time but it sure does give a chance for that to happen too.. Anyway investing in cryptos is a risky business so if you wanna play then you gotta make your bets and roll with it.

Market sometimes like uncertain, it is true if the market is difficult to change but you need to know it all can happen quickly.

I try to give back to the community by running a full node whenever possible, I have the space, (and also I'm greedy for free btc private) but the inability to encrypt the wallet is discouraging me from doing so for this coin. I respectfully suggest to the devs this should maybe be a higher priority to get fixed. Who wants to adopt an insecure coin? Using zclassic swing wallet ui 0.58, I believe this is the "core" wallet. The dev page requests users run a full node to solve the verification problem, but then the core wallet cannot be encrypted. These two things are at odds with one another.

I agree with you that the increase in the price of coins is closely related to the whole market, and we need to wait.

We are a week after the announcement, and  still no info regarding support from any exchanges ? Is this a sign of a coin that will start around 150-200 USD ?

If your hard drives are encrypted your wallet is encrypted.  Wallet-level encryption would certainly be nice though.

I did, I saved my wallet.dat file and deleted the rest, reinstalled, then replaced the new wallet.dat file with the old one, fixed.

c:/users/you/appdata/roaming/zclassic/wallet.dat

***** be careful with that file, don't lose it or mix them up. It has everything in it including your private key *****

Is there any decent Zclassic mining pool that doesn't steal half of your earnings like supernova or miningspeed do?

I'm using Miningspeed and so far so good...

P.S Rearding that connection problem of the swing wallet - tried to "zcashd -reindex" everything working now.

Did you compare your earnings with whattomine.com calculations? Me and my friend was getting half of this what we should. I checked some random addressess form miners list and hashrates did not correspond to rewards also.

Not really since i have alot of miners and can only do it by feeling - i know approximate daily earnings and they are approximetly the same as my wallet earnings. The problem is the falling price and rising difficulty since most of the miners are mining the most profitable stuff so i dont really know 4 sure but the earnings correspond with what should be there.

I'm mining ETH and ZCL and some other stuff also so i dont really have the time to calculate it all so i check it aproximately since i do my reports weekly and my holdings are kind of correct...

Using the Swing wallet, twice in the last few days my blockchain db has become corrupted.  I fixed it the first time by deleting the files and redownloading the blockchain but now it's happened again.  Why is this happening all of a sudden?  It was working well for a month and nothing on my end has changed.
