I saw this morning that CGminer will be ready and available for MNR launch. Is there any chance CCminer is going to be tweaked and available for launch? I know you guys are very busy working on other things, just wondering if you had any plans for this. Thank you
when does it launch ?

2 days 3 hours 28 min

Seems to be a HeavyCoin clone?

They have reverted the commit, and are back to multi-algo. I guess thats why ccminer doesn't work anymore Cry

https://github.com/rtc29462/cpuminer/blob/51c1857fe03a26f31b1a2d432e1b26fd61a78541/jackpot.c

thanks for the heads-up. I fixed the Jackpotcoin algo this morning.

here's what 3 ASUS MARS cards are getting (equivalent of 6 GTX 760)

[2014-05-01 08:24:26] accepted: 1/2 (50.00%), 20851 khash/s (yay!!!)
[2014-05-01 08:26:06] accepted: 2/3 (66.67%), 19553 khash/s (yay!!!)

I keep seeing some boo's from the wallet, so I wonder what's up with that.

Christian

hey, thanks a lot! I just have it running and it's working like a charm @ 3MH per 750Ti (stock clocks on USB 1 to 16x risers, ubuntu 13.10 server), so 15MH for the rig. The difficulty jumped a lot since yesterday (from 3 to 19), so I'm not sure if solomining is still worth it, but well, it's a gamble ^^ Also I think there is at least one pool, I might try that one, also i'm unsure how they would handle the jackpot if it's hit *g*

Again, thanks a lot for your hard work!

Yes it is, but without the voting.

Yes it is, but without the voting.

And that is why the current Heavy algo of ccminer won't work?

I believe that is the case.

To the best of my knowledge:

It uses Hefty1 as is but the entire voting was removed.
Variable block rewards and supply was removed from the block header.
Thus the block header size is smaller.

That's it I think,

Anyone know the ETA of x11 algo ? Been reading this thread for quite sometime. Saw the previous eta was to be end of April. Any idea what would be the new ETA ?

we're down to optimizing the SIMD hash, which takes a ridiculous 66% of the total runtime.

Current hash rate on GTX 780 is 2.4 MHash/s. Want to reach 5 MH.

Is jackpotcoin profitable at all? I've switched off my miner, because only YAC was barely making back any RoI,and mining anything else had become unprofitable. With them switching back to their commit, how does the v0.7 perform? Is it still giving the same hashrate or more/less? I have a Kepler card, btw.

Chris84 just told me that with this 35 MHash/s he's expecting a 0.15 BTC income per day. lolwhut

I told everyone yesterday but no one believes me.  Grin
This coin remains for us nVidier. Hopefully it won't end up like Fuguecoin. I'm still in the rich list of Fuguecoin with a little distance to Christian Cheesy

In case people don't follow the Fuguecoin thread, btw, both AizenSou and I have offered 10k FC each to someone who successfully takes over developing fuguecoin.  I figured it was worth chipping in some coins to support something that the nvidia owners like. Smiley  If you know someone who wants their own coin (and can successfully negotiate it with the dev), ...

no, soloing.  If I make the Jackpot, I don't want it to end up in the pool's wallet.

This might be someone's nVidia or AMD farm.

"difficulty" : 25.68768345,   now stop mining already Wink  This morning it was at 7-8.

Good point. I wonder who is hitting it with that then. My miner is giving very random hashs between 3.3mh/s which is right, down to tiny amounts. So actual hashrate is only 7.7mhash/s following averages

I thought about that , too. However, if I understand it correct, it works this way:

When a block is found, the previous block is checked if it is a superblock. Since this block is still in maturing process it will just get the jackpot (+ normal reward?!) instead of the normal payout. This means, that the pool operators would have to implement something to check the reward of each previous block and if its higher than the normal reward, not credit the difference to the miners.
I'm not sure if someone of the bigger pool operators would do this for a few bucks and lose credibility for that.

sooo i got bored, and turned on my 780 aswell, 6.5MH/s
total power load is 380W and i am mining at 16MH/s
enough to put me at rank 6 in cloudminers

and following christians calc for actual new hashrate of ~800MH/s
that makes me 2% of the global hashrate with 3x750Ti's and a 780

Hello guys,
 I have a problem with my 2 rigs. Both with same configuration 5 x 750ti, asrock H81pro, celeron, 4gb ram, win7 64bit, Cudaminer.
What happen is that after a while mining,  the last gpu I set on -d configuration stop working and hashrate drop. For istance if I set -d 0,1,2,3,4 gpu 4 "fall asleep", if I set -d 4,3,2,1,0 gpu 0 "fall asleep" .. Sad
I also notice that "dead" gpu is never listed on screen anymore.
Anyone notice or have this problem. Just me on 2 rigs? :S

Thanks!

I'm trying to compile ccminer-0.7 in Ubuntu but I'm getting the following error after running make

Code:
nvcc -g -O2 -I . -Xptxas "-abi=no -v" -gencode=arch=compute_20,code=\"sm_20,compute_20\" -gencode=arch=compute_30,code=\"sm_30,compute_30\" -gencode=arch=compute_35,code=\"sm_35,compute_35\" --maxrregcount=80 --ptxas-options=-v -I./compat/jansson -o heavy.o -c heavy.cu
/bin/bash: nvcc: command not found

enter:

Code:
export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/cuda/bin

after that, run make again.

I've also received a report by email that some 750 TIs just drop their hash rate randomly, but sometimes they recover. It's spooky.
