Hello all. I've been using cudaminer for my 750tis but wanted to give JPC a try so this is my first time using ccminer. I've done a good bit of reading on this forum and the commands look close enough to cudaminer that I should be able to figure it out but I can't quite get it to work properly and definitely need some help at this point.

Basically, the .bat file seems to run fine except it only gives me a new "Stratum detected new block" every minute or so. No hash information, no hash acceptance confirmation. I checked the dashboard on miningpoolhub.com and there's definitely no shares being counted.

I'm using the v0.7 release from a few days ago. Here's my .bat file (my username and such is filled in properly in the real one):

ccminer50.exe -a jackpot -d 0 -o stratum+tcp://us-east1.jackpotcoin.miningpoolhub.com:20484 -O username.worker:password

Any ideas?
if you get stratum detected new block, I'd say you are running cgminer not ccminer (or I missed an option)

As a side note to anyone solo mining jackpot coin. Right now i have 3 750Tis solo mining on the new code, found 3 blocks in 12 hours. Much better then i was getting in the pools

Hehe, nice, you are a lucky guy. I mined this night (about 6hrs) solo with all my hashpower -> 0 blocks Sad

I got one at 10pm last night, then 2 at 10am today, within 10 minutes of each other. At 1 block per cards right now. I think it is a lot of luck

Unfortunately it's nothing that obvious as I'm definitely using ccMiner v0.7, but I checked anyways. However, your comment did make me compare how they each start up and I can say that they basically start the same.

After starting either program they both say "Stratum detected new block" but cudaminer would immediately initialize GPU #0 and go on from there. The ccMiner program just waits about a minute and throws out the same "Stratum detected new block," doing so endlessly.

Is there some other command I need to apply to get ccMiner to initialize my GPU?

I "solomined" a block on the pool the other day  Cheesy

Got it at .01% after submitting 32 shares so I got full payout, lol.  I might try solomining again if I have time tomorrow.  I got 7 blocks the first 6hrs or so on the first or second night and then it slowed down considerably.

I really don't have anything like that from ccminer...
it says:
1miner threads started... etc...
Starting stratum on stratum...etc... and it start hashing (but I am using -q).

In cgminer "stratum detected new block" just means a block has been found somewhere on the network and the miner is trying to solve the new one...

edit: ok, if cudaminer doesn't start, try to restart.
Which card are you using/ which version of cc/cuda are you using ?
What is happening on gpu usage/ core clock etc... when you start the miner ?

I was on Linux all day. I added -a quark and -a anime with the first random path for groestl dropped altogether, for extra speed.

you are going to have a great day with the nVidia advantage.

VisualC++ project added.

I would recommend BitQuark, as solo-mining is easy and it's going to be listed on some exchanges soon (comkort most likely)

I have a random gainward, non oc it seems to do pretty well... I don't know if the brand is really important here...
It runs in the case close to the gtx780ti at 53°C (55°C on scrypt-jane)

Do you know where I can find the mod bios for gtx750ti ?

Because manufacture OC version gives more hashrates without the hassle of overclock yourself Wink. I got 5-10% morre without doing anything. But the price of course 5% more Wink
i checked we dont have zotac oc version here how about this msi one?
http://www.msi.com/product/vga/N750Ti_TF_2GD5OC.html#overview

it says boost clock 1163

Hey, check out what's in github, and then see you in BitQuark, SecureCoin, or Animecoin.
SecureCoin 50% TDP load need 2 instances to TDP 99% on 750Ti
all fine...  Grin

edit:
solo BitQuark 660ti (compute_30) and 750ti (compute_35)  3200 khash/s
is it normal speed?

you're leaving a R9 290X in the dust. Is that normal? :-)
