scrypt-jane (YAC) = 3.5KH/s

Is that supposed to be MH or KH?  Seems rather low.

Sorry to derail the current topic, but jackpot coin is nearing the top of swisscex voting! Keep voting there and on mintpal, let's get this cudacoin up into the big leagues. There's really no reason JPC couldn't be a top 10 coin. It's got the features and pretty active community.

Don't hold me accountable in the future, but intuition tells me this coin is WAY undervalued at the moment.
swisscex big leagues ? Grin Sure it is better than swaphole (I think JPC lost by the way  Grin... but I am currently voting peniscoin to embarrass them as this coin probably doesn't even exist)

Lost as in it's a dead coin? I doubt that personally. Swisscex is definitely not big leagues, but it's a start, and there is currently both LTC and Doge markets for it on allcrypt.  Gotta start somewhere Smiley

I'd say based on the features alone it's not likely to really die, although I don't know enough about the science behind the algo to say if it's going to be future proof enough or if x11 is just too hot right now for other coins to compete. Who knows though with the way this market moves. One good or bad article is all it takes to cause huge swings on the exchanges, haha

Best I achieved on YAC was 1.8KH/s. Trying settings which are claimed to be good for 3.5 gives immediate crash of cudaminer. Maybe downclocking or praying to the Moon while installing drivers can help... no idea :/

depends on the card an the -l switch...

the best command I've found so far was (from ivanlabrie):
--algo=scrypt-jane:YAC -l t4x16 -C 2 -b 4096 -m 1 -i 0 -L 2
works on a single 750ti with the same performance as with an 6 cards rig.
ANd the result:
Code:
[2014-05-13 15:37:43] GPU #0: GeForce GTX 750 Ti result does not validate on CPU
 (i=347, s=0)!
:/

-L 4 gives 2.4KH/s ... best I achieved so far

lost in the sense, it won't win (sorry I don't speak in riddle). it was on the top of the list in swaphole for several day with 100's of vote and two other coins bought votes have 1000 more vote than JPC. However swaphole is certainly one of the most shittiest exchange (they don't even have an order history) so it doesn't even matter.

It is rather unsafe to use others configuration. The proper way to do is to use the autotune and try to find the one which suit better your card.

true true. but autotune works not that good with yac in my experience.
-l t4x16 was stable with my different rigs and different OS.

@restless
just make yourself a kopiemtu USB stick... you need just a few minutes and you could test easily if your card is more stable with linux.

750ti
750ti SC (overclocked)
750ti FTW (overoverclocked +6pin)

Code:
cudaminer.exe -s 10 --algo=scrypt-jane:YAC -i 0 -C 0 -b 4096 -L 2 -m 1 -H 2

This worked the best for my  5 x 750ti. Got to 3.6kh/s with some OC. I got maybe 0,1kh/s from the autotune, I saw someone claiming he got more but usually 3.5kh/s is pretty much the normal.

Using cudaminer 02-28 x86.

I'm removing the OC for the autotune then I put it back when the miner is done autotuning. It help a lot for me, but also got a few crashes when using the autotune.

Thanks, for that info.  Only problem with trying to do wattage is that it's going to vary far to much as each computer is different and will have power supplies with different power factors, etc.  Really the only useful way to do that would be for one person to perform all the tests.

don't do the full loop, if you stop at max 200 it should be ok.
