Uro is a great X11 coin for ccminer on GTX 750 Ti and GTX 780 Ti, its heavily undervalued due to the fact its 1:1 backed to the value of 1 metric tonne of Urea fertilizer: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=600639.0
that coin always sounded like a big joke to me (the pisscoin... composition based...). I am pretty sure there is an inside joke everybody overlooked  Grin

The first thing I thought was that someone was taking a stab at the Euro, due to the similarity in sound when you say them out aloud.

Disappointing but not surprising:

it was to be expected. But their designed for graphics, media, and cad developers that need the extra VRAM, hence why the titan z has 4gb more vram

yeh, for any normal user noone will buy it. Even high end cad developers are going to be better off buying 4 gtx 780Ti's and still save some money

their aimed at the people that don't know tech and just buy the most expensive because the higher the price, clearly the higher the performance

Who's that "normal user" that's buying 3.000 USD graphics cards?  Grin
In practice, the "most-powerful-single-card-possible", is very useful in configurations where you're either physically constrained (no room for more than 1 double-height card), or constrained by power availability (if you can't feed any more than the typical ~250W TDP). One such example is any Mac Pro user that has stuck with the older generation Macs, for the sake of upgradability.

They should have called it MacTitan or iTitan... However it wouldn't make much sense to put a 3000$ card in an old computer...
I don't think it would work with 250watt, it is a big electron sucker

How would compare the TitanZ to a cheap 780ti quad SLI ?

Planning to mine cryptonight algo on a single card setup. Should I go r9 280x or gtx 770? Or is it too early to speculate about gtx 770 hashrate?

get an nVidia if you like the progress on ccMiner so far. But why a 770 and not e.g. two or three 750Ti?

you can earn TalkCoin, JackpotCoin at great advantage over AMD and with good profitability. Why the complaints?

Yes we mine XMR, BBR and make a killing. Not ready to share yet. We're not even using ccminer for this.

Christian

Christian,  reading between the lines here and asking for additional info.  Did you rewrite parts of the program to not use any open sources licenses that require posting of source code?

Translation: You'll be able to offer binary versions only in the future?

thats why i said a normal user wont buy it Wink
their for professional cad developers that need lots of memory, and programs that are limited to rendering on a single  card

We don't yet have any codebase for binary only versions.

However the other Christian has dropped out of C&C hash factory (leaving in good terms) to concentrate
more on personal business. So I get to decide the strategy for code releases.

I feel inclined to release the Killer Groestl quad version which works best on Compute 3.0 and still decently
on Compute 3.5. This is nontrivial to port to AMD due to its use of warp shuffle instructions.

Just thought you might have went in that direction since you mentioned the new algos didn't have anything to do with ccminer.

Hmm, the "C Hash Factory" has a nice ring to it. Smiley
Wishing the other Christian all the best in his endeavors...

Only have 1 slot. all hash rates look remarkable. But i'm curious how long ill have to wait for cryptonight support and what hashes I can expect from a 770 vs the similarly priced r9 280x. Any hints?  Grin will it be worth the wait?

Nice, my gtx760 will love the ring of that Cheesy
But it will still give the 2.8MH to a 750ti? Please, say yes  Kiss
