Christian, I think you should give all further developments only to the guy's with the right beer taste!

nameless guy: I could not read anything from the last few pages, but is there any XYZ algo support?
cbuchner: which beer do drink?
nameless guy: some belgium pee, why you ask?
cbuchner: go away...

Yeah - what do you figure? Somewhere between 50-100 lurkers for every one who's active in the thread? We should be able to raise some serious $$  Wink

would take me about a year of this kind of mining before I can retire.

tsiv's code release is going to make this difficult.

I got Monero mining on Win 8.1 with the following launch config...

Code:
ccminer.exe -a cryptonight -o stratum+tcp://mro.poolto.be:3001 -u 46vPEYRsJpGjmnL3CcH4wkSx9PicdTxs4UJ2vmuhVVPuF1DtBieZzDDE6E3ZFbRaKWfAb2AYSzG4KSZu1jVUmSa4Pw96zEd -p x -d 2,3,4 -l 6x40

It needed the -l 6x40

Hash rate is between 450 and 500 h/s for 3 cards, 750Ti. Website stats are showing hash rate as around half of that.

Correction, web stats showing the proper hash rate. It just took a wee while to update.

PC is very laggy while I mine 3 cards on Monero and 2 cards on JPC. CPU is i3, and useage is around 15 - 20%.

The problem with web site stats only showing half the hash rate was also seen with CPU miners only - and also during our trials with XMR integrated in our private ccminer branch. So I guess it's a problem with the pool's estimation of hash rate for cryptonote currencies in general.

What's the likely daily return on Monero for 450 h/s?

I've really just set it going to aid beta testing, but could prolong the test if I could gain a little bit of coin at the same time.

16:20 (Myagui) !calc 450
16:20 <MoneroBot> With 450 H/s you should get 0.64 XMR per Day

Thanks, quite a bit down the list in terms of profit. Need to decide if it's a coin worth holding...

Does the following make sense for why certain algos/gpus are going "kerplooey" (very techy term)?

Quote
"It's making windows to think the driver crashed because it's taking long enough without returning a result (windows default is 2 seconds for the GPU) and that's why windows restarts the driver and ccminer won't work and show you impossible hash rate. I made the timeout 40 seconds on my machine (tried with 10 first - it worked for some time, but then it crashed again). This made my laptop second nvidea card to start happily mining with about 22 H/s. Don't do this if you don't have a second video card, because your PC will become completely unusable while mining (if you are cpu mining on the same machine run the cpu miner before running the gpu miner, because otherwise it'll become difficult for you to even start the cpu miner). Here is a link to a .reg file, which will set the timeout to 40 seconds - just double click it and it'll add the setting to the registry (it'll ask you if you are sure). Then you should restart your windows and ccminer should work after the restart. If you find it useful don't forget to tip me  Smiley"

...and a link to this reg fix:

Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers]
"TdrDelay"=dword:00000028
