Guys keep up the good work and also please post compute 3.0 binaries

Don't abandon us  Smiley Smiley

compute 3.0 will be gone sooner or later.
actually I am a little surprise that nobody tried to do a compile of fresh algo with compute 2.0
(that should be possible as it doesn't groestl or any special compute 3.5 feature.... )
It is unpractical for me as I would have to strip everything and I don't have a compute 2.0 card...

I don't have a compute 2.0 card either or I'd compile AND TEST it.  But I can't help but wonder, do the compute 2.0 cards generate enough hash to be profitable over electrical costs on these algos?.
actually I was surprise by the perf of my gtx660... which were rather good, so a high-end gtx5xx should do rather well (after it is a matter of interest... some people did it for x11, so there must be an interest...  Grin) but it is up to them... (as it doesn't make sense to do it without being able to test it...)

Yea, I've got a few of the 660s with 1152 shaders on them (more then typical 660 card with 960 shaders).
http://www.techpowerup.com/gpudb/b1881/dell-gtx-660-oem.html

However the GTX660 is a compute 3.0 card.

EDIT: I'm actually surprised the 660 doesn't do better then it does. Forgetting about wattage, it has better specs across the board then the 750ti does, but of course has a different instruction set.

ok then so thoughts on this, the releases page as it is right now is a mess. The method i propose right now is to have a slide down option.

So all versions are displayed, i.e.

Code:
v1.02
- - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - --
v1.0
 - - - - -- - -- - - - -- - - - -

when the version is clicked the page extends and shows details

Code:
v1.02
- - - - - - - - - -- - - - - - --
version 1.02 had x added in and works with this, also had this improvement

(download buttons)

v1.0
 - - - - -- - -- - - - -- - - - -

again when you click it, it then shrinks back down again. Thoughts?

That would work.  If you want to make it an even bigger mess, you could track the different algos and compute versions available for each release and allow users to "filter" the releases based on algo and compute level.

Depends on the level of pain you want.  Grin

EDIT: But could be super useful for someone looking for say a compute 5 or compute 2 version of something.

Depends on how shitty people's pc's are Wink
the main issue with this is i have to develop for people with javascript on and with it off, making things a pain

i can add filtering in though, we will see how much i can get done tonight

Could just go old school and not use Javascript or rely on it.  Just refresh the whole page based on their criteria.

i think that is because of the 750ti Maxwell's technology  Wink
