I'm often seeing stats with zero accepted shares and lots of invalids on some coin. My miners report accepted shares, obviously with some rejects during block changes. I'm also getting paid, though it's a bit hard to say yet if I'm getting the correct amount for my hashrate. The share stats just look really messed up, and are rarely updated. For example, my FTC stats have been stuck at 50 invalids and zero valids for a while now, even though I'm getting accepted shares in constantly.
Do the hashrate graphs include rejected/stale shares, or are they based on just accepted shares? It would also be great if multiport users could view a combined graph of their hashrate.
Also a question to miners here: are you using any backup pools in cgminer/bfgminer? I'm thinking of adding a LTC backup pool, but cgminer README warns against using on multiple blockchains at the same time. Previously I thought that would mean even the multipool concept wouldn't work, but clearly that's not the case. Maybe it's still a problem with backup pools?

Hopefully flound1129 will come back online soon and update us on what the actual situation is with the LTC mining at the moment.

I have multipool as my first pool and hypernova as my backup pool and this has worked fine for me when multipool is down. Unfortunately it doesn't switch to the backup pool when multipool keeps accepting shares but doesn't register them. Let's hope it was a bug in the frontend and the backend did register the shares.

Hey, things are fixed now.. No shares were lost. The pool software was unable to write to the db but held all the shares in memory.. It just got finished pushing them all into the db.

I use backup pools on the multiport. If you are going to do this, it's better to use a backup pool of a currency that doesn't have fast blocks (ie LTC or FTC), since your miner will restart work if it receives new block notifications from the backup pool.

The LTC hash rate hasn't been displaying for me since yesterday, should I stop mining it until fixed?

Do you guys still want NVC in the pool? It takes several days to confirm blocks but the price is very stable so it shouldn't be a concern.. Let me know what you htink.

Flound already responded to your claim with proof, but I want to toss out that I have had absolutely no issues with the pool paying out as it should, nor getting credit where it should. Please don't spread false rumors like that without any substantial evidence to back it up.

If you are not mining LTC at the time a block has been found on multipool.in, but you still have hundreds of thousands of LTC round shares when an LTC block is found, I would have thought you would receive a payout for some of those round shares. These seems not to be the case. I watched the last two LTC block be found according to the Last 30 Blocks Found - LTC table but received nothing for my round shares which are of course going down all the time. This doesn't seem fair as the pool switching is not up to me.
This problem is not occurring with my accumulated FTC round credits which are turning into unconfined balance quite happily each time an FTC block is being found.

It's PPLNS. Pay Per Last Number of Shares. This means that, say it is based on 10k shares, 10,001 will remove share 1, 10,002 removes share 2, etc. It evens out to be the same reward over time. You could have hopped on near the end, gotten 50 shares at the last minute, now you only mined for a minute and got a big reward.

That's not the issue, the issue is the LTC round shares are not being turned into unconfirmed balance each time an LTC block is found. So my LTC balance is not rising unless the auto pool is actually mining LTC at the time a block is found.

This shouldn't be the case, I will look at this as soon as I'm near a computer.
