ok i changed to to poo1.us
Sorry if I missed that at another point, but what is the new server for? "balanced load"? Is it located at the same country? Should it improve the supply of work for the miners? I didn´t get this yet. The old server is overloaded. That's why you sometimes see stratum disconnects. The new port is load balanced between two larger servers. I will eventually turn off the old server so you should move over ASAP.

I tried multiport on the new server an hour or so ago but it seemed to still be only pointing at LTC. Main multiport was pointing at MNC, but my hashes were still going to LTC on the new server.

Manual payout of FTC isn't working for me (other coins worked fine). I added an auto-threshold of 1 to see if the cron job will deliver.
Just checked and same problem here... it may be because the hot wallet is empty. Correct, I just sent some FTC over. I've been keeping the hot wallets lean since we got ripped off the other night. You should be able to withdraw soon. Yep, just came here to see if you posted since it just withdrew, :p. And for what it's worth, I much prefer waiting a bit to get paid than having the site go through issues and not being able to get anything, so keep doing what you're doing!

are payouts for the coin-switching port in each coin it switches to? Unless it is selling the coins right after making them I don't see the point. Example- if FTC is really profitable so it is mined for a day then its value crashes and it switches to LTC. Now I have a bunch of worthless coin and have to wait for it to go back up to how much it was worth when it was being mined to sell. Unless the payout for mining on the coin-switching port is in one currency I don't see how this would work.

There is always a risk that a coin can crash, but generally, coin values are fairly stable day to day. Most of them are certainly stable enough that you can withdraw and cash in your coins or trade them for your currency of choice before the price changes too much. The largest driving factor for profitability is coin difficulty, which can be quite extreme on some coins. For example, FTC difficulty just dropped 41%. FTC has been trading at .0009-.001 for over a week now, so when the difficulty dropped, the profitability went over LTC's. In the future I may allow auto-conversion of payouts to a particular coin, but right now if you don't want a coin your best bet is to send it directly to an exchange with auto payout and either go in manually and sell it each day or write a bot to do it. (In fact, if someone were to write an auto-sell bot and share it with the Multipool users, well I think that might even be worthy of Hero membership.)

pool1.us multiport is now open for beta testing. Please let me know how things go.
stratum+tcp://pool1.us.multipool.in:7777
Thanks!
I pointed a few of my miners to the pool1.us.multipool.in on port 7777 to help you test. Currently the normal multiport is on FTC but my miners on the BETA multiport are showing in my stats mining MNC. I'm not complaining, just letting you know so you can improve I know it's beta stage. Keep up the good work. Fantastic to see you're also adding a European server.

Is someone out here who is mining with the Block Erupter Blades? I was thinking about to give those SHA-256 altcoins a chance by trying out TRC. Until now I was using slush´s mining proxy, which I pointed to multipool.in at port 3333 and everything did it´s job. Now I started thinking about; why a mining proxy when there are direct stratum servers, so I tried to point the blade directly to the new server, looking like this: http://abload.de/img/config1brstj.png http://abload.de/img/config2e4sa7.pngThe screens shows the connection to the 8332 port, but with this config the blade does frequently switch between 3333 and 8332 without any success. Can anyone imagine what is wrong or does the blades just not work with direct stratum connection?

I can't imagine that ASIC blades wouldn't natively support stratum, since that's what stratum was created for. But I guess it's possible.
But why do you still have 8332 in the second screenshot?

(specifically the code that decides when to switch) But one nice thing is when everything works properly the switch is even more seamless than the current port.

I'll go in there later when I have some time and delete everything and re-add with the lower markup.

When I hit "switch server" it connects to 3333, by chance it doesn´t show that moment in the screenshots but the blade def. connects also to port 3333 but doesn´t get any work. don´t know what I can do but waiting for someone also mining with those blades and hope he can help me out

You should get paid too but convince them to accept BTC/LTC and leave price as is.. just have buttons to click that connect to exchange so they get their precious fiat. (I'm trying to do just this with a few businesses. Not easy I know, so much 'xplainin' to do) T.

Don't try to use 7777 on the EU server yet, it's only for direct mining. I haven't set up the multiport yet.

New multiport should be switching cleanly now. Please let me know if you see any disconnects that are not the result of a recent switch.
