are payouts for the coin-switching port in each coin it switches to? Unless it is selling the coins right after making them I don't see the point. Example- if FTC is really profitable so it is mined for a day then its value crashes and it switches to LTC. Now I have a bunch of worthless coin and have to wait for it to go back up to how much it was worth when it was being mined to sell. Unless the payout for mining on the coin-switching port is in one currency I don't see how this would work.

There is always a risk that a coin can crash, but generally, coin values are fairly stable day to day.  Most of them are certainly stable enough that you can withdraw and cash in your coins or trade them for your currency of choice before the price changes too much.

it would be perfect if you add price column, and put average if coin is hopped more than once that day, so that you know if you sell bellow that av.price it will be at a loss, stat should be zeroed when coin balance is zeroed

   Your    Round    Your Balances    Per-Block
Coin    Speed    Shares    Confirmed Unconfirmed Estimate Av.price
LTC      0   KH/s1204703   0.6708   0.0000   0.3604
FTC      0   KH/s   40783   0.0000   0.3976   0.1514    0.0000966
ARG      0   KH/s   19424   1.6646   0.0925   0.0104    0.0003200
PXC      0   KH/s   16176   0.0000   2.2554   0.1147    0.0001675

My miner crashed about 3hrs ago, the screen was blank so I couldn't see if there had been a switch. Had to force reboot, the screen wouldn't wake up.

I was having issues with cgminer 3.2.1 and 3.3.1. I transitioned back to 3.1.1, and voila - no more crashing when we change coins. Give it a go - YMMV.

Noticing something wierd here too on the multipool.

In the top left box, it's showing my speed at 1313 on ARG and 5830 on PXC, but I don't think it's been on ARG for a while (stats say a good hour I think)

The stats page is also showing the same workers mining both coins.

I expect it's just a bug, restarted all my rigs and the problem persists, shares are being submitted fine it seems.

CGWatcher is also really good for this kind of thing, if you're running Windows: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=159267.0. It fixed my problems with cgminer freezing on another pool.

I mined on the Multiport Stratum server for about 50 minutes total at 740 kh/s yesterday. None of my stats have updated and it currently states that I haven't submitted any shares. I had zero HW errors during this time and maybe two rejects. I haven't had any problems with my other pool and I switched back to it after I noticed that nothing was updating. I'm intrigued by the idea of mining the most profitable coin at the time, but I'd like to be assured that I'm getting credit for mining. It has been over 12 hours and my stats haven't changed from all zeros.

Can one miner log into both the US end EU server at the same time?
I have set a few miners to use both the US and EU servers with "load-balance" on in cgminer.
They do submit shares to both pools but I see stratum disconnects often so I'm wondering if this is because I connect to both servers at the same time.

Is the getwork connection working ( http://pool.multipool.in:17777 )?  My Cuda miners (no stratum support so getwork only) aren't connecting anymore.

Thanks

Why now shown that multiport currently mining ftc, but all my workers switched to the lky?
Permanent disconnects, is the problem known?

Same problem here. My hashing power is going to LKY while FTC is the most profitable according to the multiport Sad

It looks like we're running into a mysql bug..  http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=16708

Basically what's happening is a bunch of updates are hanging and everything is grinding to a halt.

I just restarted the db..  Hopefully it helps.  Otherwise we may be looking at an upgrade to 5.6.6.
