Ok here is what is going on with my BiFury.
If I plug it in and then startup BFG or Multiminer no devices at all are found not even my existing ASIC's.
If I start the program with the BiFury not plugged in then hot plug it detects and works great in BFG miner using the manual add. Then it runs great 5 to 5.6 gh/s.
I have looked around but I don't see any solutions. This is the same either in my Anker hub or directly into the ports on the PC.
I am running Win7.

idk if u noticed but ur running them at 0881 for 1.8 ghs when u should be running them at 0981 for 2.0 ghs just a tip Yes I know don't worry. I may try 0981 again on v3 soon but using v2 at 0981 I got loads of HW errors so I'd like to avoid them for now. Also I don't have any active cooling so I wouldn't want to run the U1's too hot right now. ive been running in v3 for 8 hours at 0981 no HW errors what so ever getting 5 more antminers today ill post a update on them later if u want my command line here it is bfgminer.exe -S erupter:all -S antminer:all -S all --set-device antminer:clock=x0981 --icarus-options 115200:2:2 --icarus-timing 2.5=90 --klondike-options 362:65 --weighed-stats that whole switching timing of the icarus is just to make it run steadier i found that out couple days ago https://i.imgur.com/VoyQG8R.jpgThanks for the extra commands. I'm trying those now on v3 but I think 1.8 Gh/s per U1 is the max my hub can take right now - we'll see in a few hours time. I am running 3 BE's on the same hub so that could be affecting the overall hash rate. Regarding HW errors, you're right, v3 is far more stable even at 0981 - gotten 1 HW error on one U1 so far. Very happy still with the results. running great no HW errors except for one of the new U'1 that i got but i know its not from the bfgminer its probably from my hub not supplyng enought amps getting more soon :3 running great getting dem blocks https://i.imgur.com/AcbwfCb.jpg

Still having issues getting the Nanofurys to work on nwooll's version of bfg. Running it on Debian, hidapi is installed correctly as far as I can tell (no warning or errors when setting up bfg).
Any ideas?
I've heard of issues with nanofurys on Ubuntu from a friend. bfgminer segfaults and re-plug needed or something. Could you elaborate more on what issues do you get? Have you tried compiling bfgminer disabling what you don't need in configure?

So, I run BFGMiner at 0981 and I get hardware errors. Funny thing here though, I unplug the ones that are having hardware errors, switch them out with others that aren't, meaning I switched the ports they were in, and I get no more hardware errors from either of them. Weird. I still have one miner that runs slower than dog poo though =[. I think I might have a bad miner, sadly.

Running 1 antminer at x0981 with 3.10.0 no hardware
bfgminer -o thatplace.u.no -u me.me -p easilyguessed -S antminer:all --set-device antiminer:clock=x0981
Took a bit for the average to ramp up, but seems to be working great. Plan on upgrading from usb2 powered hub to usb3 powered hub soon.

If anyone wants to elaborate on the README FAQ covering un-Zadig'ing, I bet that would be well-appreciated by many. What is the Com driver used for the Drillbit devices? Cheers

What is the maximum number of devices that can be supported by BFGminer in one session?

Have you tried compiling bfgminer disabling what you don't need in configure? They don't appear. At all. No, I haven't tried disabling other stuff, because with my collection of miners I basically use just about everything. Besides, that was an old version of modded 3.9.0 I was talking about, not 3.10.0 - I haven't had a chance to check out 3.10.0. Oddly, I was using cgminer to run the Nanofurys, but yesterday it's segfaulting with them. I had to unplug them to get my other, faster miners that need cgminer to work working.

Luke-Jr, Thanks. I still cannot find this driver (specifically for Win7/64). I know how to remove the current Zadig installed one, but the only one that I can find for Drillbit is the Atmel driver used for firmware updates, which doesn't seem to work for me. Any clues would be appreciated. Thanks

Removing the WinUSB driver has to be 'complete' (not just uninstal, but tick the box to remove the driver). Cheers

I am using:-
TeamViewer FREE pc remote controller (free for domestic use)
It's Ideal for managing remote PC when running miners (and other software)
You can remote control many PC's from home. It has a better resolution and faster response than "logmein".
Does anyone know if BFGminer can send out an email alert on miner failure? ( minepeon does this from the rPi) I would like to set up something similar from my remote PC location.

Thank you, Luke-Jr, for 3.10.0! Now my U1s and BEs will play well together on the same win7-64 i3 machine (after fiddling with the drivers) - I had to run them on separate machines until now. But now there's a new issue. My BEs (22), which have been running rock solid on (ahem) cgminer for several months, now all shut down between a half hour to an hour after a restart. An S-B-Y restarts bfgminer which picks them all up again. The U1s (4) keep on trucking (except during the restart, of course). All of the miners are on powered hubs and are cooled by a fan. Using the silas VCP driver. U1s running with clock:x0981 generating a fairly consistent ~1.9Ghs.
Is there a log I can look at that might indicate which might shed some light into this? I'm running the 64 bit bfgminer - should I try using the 32 bit version instead?
Since the 4 U1s together run slightly faster than the 22 BEs, I will probably just add more U1s and put my BEs up for sale, but it is still an undesirable behavior...

Hey guys and girls, Trying to do a little solo mining on the side. I have it set up and is running but it is either a) not working correctly or b) I dont fully understand load balance. I am trying to get it where it does 90% of the work for the pool and 10% for solo mining. However I only get about 1/3 or the hash rate on the pool as I used to and not the 90% I would like. Here is the code, without the load balance command because not sure where to put it so I do that manually: {
"pools" : [ { "quota" : "10;192.168.2.9:8332", "user" : "blah", "pass" : "blah", "coinbase-addr" : "1DhHifvuR232342142424SsKJoQUqeC7Z5dc", "coinbase-sig" : "Fuglie's solo lotto 10%" }, { "quota" : "90;stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333", "user" : "blah", "pass" : "blah" }
] ,
"scan" : "all"
} Is it not working correctly or is load balance not working how I think it should (sharing the max available hash rate between the pool/solo)? Thanks! - Fuglie

the link on the bfgminer website to the Slackware build is broken. so i downloaded the source to rebuild bgminer myself. turns out to support Nanofury i need to have hidapi installed. i've downloaded hidapi-0.7.0 and unzipped it. even ran the hidapi linux/Makefile and the command line test program found my usb connected battery backup. however, i am unclear as to where and which files (a compiled .a? the .h?) needs to be placed for bfgminer's ./configure --enable-nanofury to actually find it.
