Dear Mr. and Mrs. Reader, Can anyone confirm that v1.0.1 really doesn't have any improvements worthwhile mentioning? As of what i have put together from the information gathered by reading your comments on this matter; it doesn't seem to be worth the hassle of booting up Linux, clone repo, extract, configure and do the testing. Yours sincerely, ------------- ZanderM VERSION 1.0.1 IS 7-10% FASTER-- Depending on the card or rig, this version is 7 percent to 10 percent faster. All my cards hash faster than with version 0.0.6. I think that the author should work to improve stability. --scryptr well, if it is 7% faster, but crash 10 times more, i can't use it. 0.6.0 is stable for 7-10 days (at least). A blessing as far as stability is concerned (on Rx 470 rig, a little less stable on r7 370 rig).

Hi, I've been getting several request for adding support for Optiminer Zcash in Awesome Miner. However, I couldn't find any documentation for the HTTP API other than it's enabled with the parameter '-m'. Any suggestions where I can find it? Thanks!

RUMOR IS THAT IT IS CLAYMORE COMPATIBLE-- Supposedly, Optiminer can be monitored with Claymore's utility. It should be easy to confirm, but I haven't tried it. --scryptr

I have been running 1.0.1 for several days now it is ~12% faster for my MSI R7 370 Gaming 4G card versus 0.6.0. The only time I have seen 1.0.1 restarting the share accepted count is when it loses connectivity to the pool (I use flypool), but I also have a less than stellar internet provider. Optiminer 0.6.0 would regularly crash with SIGSEGV errors in the logging code: 2016-12-04 19:22:31,703 FATAL [default] CRASH HANDLED; Application has crashed due to [SIGSEGV] signal 2016-12-04 19:22:31,703 WARN [default] Aborting application. Hi, I've been getting several request for adding support for Optiminer Zcash in Awesome Miner. However, I couldn't find any documentation for the HTTP API other than it's enabled with the parameter '-m'. Any suggestions where I can find it? Thanks! Yeah, I should put up a page describing the JSON format. But it should be pretty self-explaining. With -m you specify the port where the HTTP server listens on. The miner's HTTP server serves a simple JSON response (on GET /): { "uptime": 121, "share": { "rejected": 0, "accepted": 12 }, "solution_rate": { "Total": { "60s": 511.416667, "5s": 494 }, "GPU0": { "60s": 227.7, "5s": 219.2 }, "GPU1": { "60s": 283.633333, "5s": 274.8 } }, "iteration_rate": { "Total": { "60s": 271.7, "5s": 270 }, "GPU0": { "60s": 120.4, "5s": 118.8 }, "GPU1": { "60s": 151.3, "5s": 151.2 } }, "stratum": { "target": "0020c49ba5e353f7ced916872b020c49ba5e353f7ced916872b020c49ba5e353", "port": 3443, "host": "eu1-zcash.flypool.org", "connection_failures": 0, "connected": true } } Would be great if you can add support for Optiminer to your tool.

I'm seeing 6-14% improvement (the numbers are bouncing around from 120-130 on the miner output) from my 24hr average (113.8 ) on flypool. Once I've been mining with this version for a while I will report what the miner and flypool show. GPU: MSI r7 370 Gaming 4G, 1175 core/1500 mem

Could be problem in miner, when it lost connection to pool it simply stop to mine? Because doesnt problem with old miner version 0.6.0 but in new version after some time miner just stops.

[info] Connecting to zec-eu1.nanopool.org:6633. [error] TLS handshake with zec-eu1.nanopool.org failed: certificate verify failed
Nanopool uses a self-signed certificate. Optminner does not accept this as it gives this it cannot verify that there is no man-in-the-middle attack.

Thank you, is there possibility (I have download the certificate) to tell optiminer to use them? I might add the option to specify the pool certificate fingerprint on the command line. This would allow you to mine on a pool that uses self-signed certificates in a mostly secure way.
