Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

bought a few

Netcoin is one of the 15 supported coins at my store on http://www.cryptogamekeys.com (payments processed by coinpayments)

If there is a bounty for this, it can be sent to n5ZKm2wEpBASTkF581ySN7eEhGtzzgJULp

If there isn't a bounty, i'll take donations too ^^

Seems like Netcoin is really gaining traction.  Price is steadily rising and the network hash rate is over 300 MH/s.  I've watched this coin for a while.  The coin is fairly mature at this point and I suppose the exposure on coinmarketcap gave it a kick.  Good times for Netcoin. Smiley

Can anyone explain in easy terms why netcoin is going up a lot these days ?

Welcome to the FAIL list ndndr.

Ok, this was my last FAIL list post, sorry to bloat a bloated thread.

Marginally.

People who have been following this thread and posting in it in the last year, please PM me your BitMessage address or PGP keys if you are interesting in helping provide so this chain will go forward.  I will be sending out information regarding the model of crowdfunding and the distribution, and when and how much you will be allowed to invest.

Same here. I've been following this project for ages, and I'd love to contribute to the crowdfunding, but I don't have BitMessage or PGP. I'll PM you.

People who have been following this thread and posting in it in the last year, please PM me your Bitmessage address or PGP keys if you are interested in helping provide so this chain will go forward.  I will be sending out information regarding the model of crowdfunding and the distribution, and when and how much you will be allowed to invest.

I should add that the reason we're asking for Bitmessage and/or PGP keys is that we don't have a lot of options for secure messaging. It's safe to assume nobody has any privacy nowadays, but at least some level of privacy gives your rights protection against those who don't have complete access to what you do.

In any case, anyone who is interested in contributing to this project should contact tacotime with a BM address or PGP keys. This contribution can be an intent to do a financial donation to fund development for stake tickets, or it can be an intent to contribute to the project in other ways (whatever you think will help will be welcomed). You can also contact me if you need more information about any of this in case tacotime gets overloaded, including how to get a Bitmessage address or PGP keys.

We've developed a whole bunch of close relationships with people who are serious about altcoin dev, and the project is getting close being ready for people's involvement at a development level. But we'll need more help, and coming together as a smaller, concentrated community will do just that.

tl;dr now is the time to get involved if you're serious about this project. Get in touch and join the people behind this project, so we can drive it as a community effort before taking it to a larger audience. Any input you share with the community will be valuable.

Sure.  It's a really easy way to do public key encryption, easier for most new users than PGP.

Everyone else has been replied to.

If anyone needs help setting up BM and/or testing that it works, send me a PM and I'll help you. There's a guide over at CryptoJunky to get you started, and you can also check out the one at GuidingTech for more information.
