What sort of lag are you guys experiencing with nanopool? I'm typically getting around 150ms, seems high for being in the west coast and pointing my rig to the west coast server no?

Try slush pool, Slush invented mining pools and zcash is first coin they added besides Bitcoin. Besides great dashboard and mobile apps, it's got stability of oldest Bitcoin mining pool. I'm 78ms to their east coast stratum but I don't live on the west coast so doesn't mean much but you could try ping them see if it's better than nanopool.

Can anyone share their hash rate and OC settings for 1070 with micron memory?

Currently i run on that values in Afterburner:
Power Limit 70
Temp. Limit 70
Core Clock +100
Memory Clock +500
Fan Speed 70%

The effective values in AB are shown as:
1913 MHz
4300 MHz
962 mv
63°C

I get constant 465-475 S/s.

I'm still trying to find a good balance for Sol/W but to have an idea of the hash rate it should be fine Smiley

Your command line to start ewbf says 4200, maybe should be 42000 ?

Also, at least on my win10 with Chrome, I just say "localhost:42000" in the address line. Neither 127.0.0.1 or the actual IP address work.

dooh Roll Eyes

Still doesn't work.

localhost refused to connect.

Now I have run into a problem with windows. I am trying to add a fifth card. EWBF/windows will only run with 3 or 5. Runs fine 4 of 4.

I know there is a solution and I will keep looking , but if someone could point me to the right post or thread I would really appreciate it.

I am a Linux newbie. I have used ethOS but that is the limit of my exposure.

What do I need to do to run EWBF in Linux?
Is there a guide in here somewhere?

I confirm the problem with stopping miner. Fix will be soon.
Please respond to my query about Linux version. Thank you.

Just read the thread your question has been answered already be some question of the same nature. Don't be lazy man.

Code:

what can it be?

not enough power on my psu (only 750w)
some powerlimiting and not too much overclock did the trick

get some 1kW PSU - the 1080 ti needs a hell of power for zec mining (eth is bit less power required)

Maybe someone met this problem: I  mined with MSI gtx1080ti Gaming X on EWBF 0.3.3b without any problem for 2 weeks , after the release of new miner EWBF 0.3.4b  , i updated  my nvidia driver .853 and the miner at 0.3.4b , after 9 hours of mining in the next morning i noticed that the gpu has a very poor hash rate (reinstaled windows, drivers, miner) the same , the gpu is dead doesn`t want to mine equihash , i tested it on nicehash and works only on libry with a very good hash rate , the question is EWBF 0.3.4b deteriorates in anyway the gpu ? or my gpu was with problems?

Can anyone share their 1080 clocks/voltages/hashrates using EWBF's Zcash miner please? Or point me to where I could check myself?

nvidiaInspector.exe -setPowerTarget:0,60
nvidiaInspector.exe -setBaseClockOffset:0,0,140
nvidiaInspector.exe -setMemoryClockOffset:0,0,988

So, Power at 60%, BaseClock +140, Mem +988

Have not tested to any limits yet.

I get 540 sols/s at  up to 160 watts peak but average 150W
That is pretty awesome. Thanks for sharing. Out of curiosity, why nvidia inspector and not eg. MSI AB?

nvidia inspector does not need to be installed or run at start-up. You just need nvidiainspector.exe in your ccminer folder and include the lines (or one line) in your miner.bat file (which you then need to run as admin.

Otherwise any OC software will do.

Was running ok with 6 cards for weeks ... Apparently Error 42 and 30 did happen yesterday. System was 0 sol while using full WAttage. and 1 card has gone.
Only seem to detect 5 cards. I did a DDU and did install new drivers, but still only seem to detect 5 cards. I did check cables and cards. They are ok

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your card probably died.  I can pretty much guarantee if you post test them one at a time there will be a no post card in the bunch.  I've lost 2 already in a similar fashion by pushing over clocks too hard, it's why I buy all EVGA cards, their warranty and RMA process is the best in the bizz.  Just no questions asked replacements every time.

Running 3 x GTX 1080 Ti on Ubuntu 16.04, 950W PSU

Lasts about 30 minutes before the system freezes.

Had 1 card going for about 48 hours previously with no crashes..  rewrote the xconfig file for 3 GPUs and coolbits.

No idea whats up.  prior to crash everything reads fine in the log.  all operating at 750s/s
