Guys, could you tell me please how to see the average hashrate on the miner? I know that pools show this info but it's incorrect sometimes.

So I can see only current speed...

You have to wait approx 24 hrs before you seen an accurate average hashrate.  For example, nanopool gives you pretty wild current hashrates, but their 6hr, 12hr and 24hr hashrates give you a good overall average.

Dude, I've been waiting for a month and still see incorrect speeds. So anyway the miner must have the possibility to show average speed on its side.

THE HASHRATES ARE DETERMINED DIFFERENTLY--

So, there is a margin for error.  Network signal lag,  pool mining load, and the computational difference between actual hash cycles (miner) and frequency of accepted shares (pool) are causes for error.

Have you played with any of the voltage curves in afterburner?  They will stay in effect for each card individually even when you adjust the power levels.  Your 1000 watt power supply is sufficient to run 7 cards at a reasonable power setting so 5 will not be a problem.

Try bringing up your power level to a higher percentage as well, like 70% you should see the cards increase in power then.

Thanks, so i tried starting again with a 100% aiming to move down. The power draw from the wall went to 800w but the cards's distribution was:

When i lowered it to 70% it almost remained the same, total power draw went to 780w. 60% kept the cards like this:

After the adjustment from 100% to 70% had essentially no effect i figured it has to be the PSU being undersized. Now i throttled the 5th card which was running ahead to 50% to bring the entire rig above 4 sol/w. At least it is efficient now

Might be worth while to do a full uninstall and reinstall of the drivers and afterburner, you really shouldn't be seeing much of difference between identical cards.

I have a new rig with Asus Z270A motherboard with 2 x M2 adapters and a total of 9 x GPUs: 1 x 1080, 1 x 1070, 6 x 1060.

I'm getting 3020 sol/s and using 1240 watts at the wall, and am using CentOS and EWBF 0.3.4b miner

I have a 1600 watt EVGA power supply so no problem there, but i'd like to lower power a bit and increase performance if possible.

What are some tools I can use in Linux to tweak the cards, like MSI Afterburner, but for Linux?

Or should I just leave stock settings?

Either way, this rig cost about $5000 and it's set to return only about $360 a month after electricity, so I'm pretty underwhelmed at this point. Cheer me up?

Hey there, quite impressive to have 9 GPUs running on 1 board! I can't help you with tweaking Tools in Linux, but i can cheer you up at least a little: At least the 1070 can be tweaked a lot. My 1070s also run around 400 Sol/s (a little above) but pull only 100w. I have only 1070s and 1080 TIs, but they all run around 3.8 to 4.0 W/Sol. I would expect your rig to pull no more than 850 off the wall given your speed after you lower your power with tools that helpful People will provide.

In MSI AfterBurner properties (gear icon) you can untick "Synchronize settings for similar graphics processsors"

All zec miner 0.*. zips have a trojan warnings - Trojan.Gen.NPE and you can't even download archive with miner from google drive with a link from 1st post, only Mega works (w/o virus check?)

what are your values with oc? I know how to tweak 1070 for ethereum but don't know what is better here, oc both the core clock and memory clock to maximum possible and reduce the power limit?

for now I have on palit 75% power limit + 38 core + 600 memory and the results are 430 sol/s

430sol/s with a 75% power limit? impressive.

That's pretty nice... the funny thing about mine is that there isn't any power limit defined (it's 100%)
I pushed the core clock to +90 and memory clock to +680 ...
I can't understand how that random change of settings in windows panel has this effect
The card is consuming only 99w and outputing 400 to 405 sol/s and 40C is barely audible (on a closed case without intake fans)
Try to do what I did in the video if you can and check if you have the same output
Would be nice to check if that's consistent

Edit: memory is micron
you have to test your settings, light oc and reduced power limit and check for stability... I had some gtx970 before and if I lowered too much the power limit they went offline... not sure how 1070s behave
try memory clock +675, normaly it should be fine
