Anyone get the slowdown issue? I'm getting around 335-340 sol/s here with a palit gtx 1060 6gb (+90MHz core/780+MHz mem OC, running at 67-69C) but sometimes when I leave it for like 6+ hours it gets randomly slow down to 250~. restart my computer seems to solved it but pretty annoying tho when I have to monitor my PC like every hour.

Try using auto mouse clicker by murgee (Or any other automatic mouse clicker/mover) and set it to move your mouse every minute or so. It should hopefully keep your hashrate the same infinitely as long as the movement of the mouse is repeated. It worked for me and another guy.  If not then you probably don't have the same issue that I had. I'm hoping @EWBF_ knows if the issue is with the miner or something windows related.

no more boost for this? i see that other 10% increase is possible if you squeeze more out of the code, other dev in other thread like sp have 10% more hashrate with their private miner

to be precise the private miner is 13% faster but price is steep only for big farms....

Where can I get a miner that is faster than ewbf for equihash, and how much does it cost?

You need many rigs to justifiy the cost.
Here we can gather to buy private miner. I can organize it. But need information. Who sell it?

Hello,everyone!
The fact of recent shortage of RX470s and the increased power consumption of RX5xx series forced me to build my new rig with Nvidia 1060s. I'm sorry about my noob question but do i need CUDA package and Visual Studio installed on the PC to run this miner properly?I didn't install these and the miner keeps stop working after few hours ,sometime even minutes so i thought that might be the case. The program is running but the card shows 0 sols and it's colored in red.I'm using the latest Nvidia drivers and 0.3.3b Miner. The card is my PCs Nvidia 780Ti.Windows 10 Pro. Thanks!

No need for those on Windows, Linux is another story altogether.
Post the screenshot.

And who is going to maintain it ?

By the way, recruiting on other Dev.s thread is not very professonnal.
So who would want to pair with a cutthroat anyway?

A lot of people tried it, and unfortunately speed in 16 times less! Sad

Huh, pretty interesting issue on how and why this miner program don't like idling, lol. Maybe it's on windows side. Thanks man for the solution btw.

You might be able to adjust the sleep settings as well. Tell the OS not to go to sleep etc.....might have the same effect.

Nah I never put my computer to sleep, the only thing I would do is putting my monitor to sleep lol. Since I have this auto cursor move program thing, guess I'll have just to turn off my monitor.

I can't say this is the case with pote2639, but in my case I've got every single power saving option turned off from windows power options to nvidia control panel settings to turning off C states in BIOS and I'm still having the issue without a mouse movement every few minutes. I have tried everything. An idling prevention software like an auto mouse clicker finally worked.

This is a windows problem.  I never had these issues with linux.

What is the hashrate that you get with MSI GTX 1070 Gaming x ?

I have ~475H/s avg on my MSI GTX 1070 Gaming X with 2035 core/8402 memory.  Still haven't tried higher frequencies, maybe can get more..

Yes but you probably have over 180W of consumption so this is not effective for mining.

Yep, 184W. What would you recommend? Use factory frequencies?

I get the same hash rate with only 127w using core at 1950 MHZ and memory at 8808 MHz, Power limit 70% on a EVGA FTW in my gaming pc

May I ask for more details (OS, Drivers, etc)? My G1 is eating 133w with +100 / +400 @72%, and this is stable with ~440S/s
