Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Can someone explain to me  why the miner prints 6200 sol/s and the flypool the average efective hash is only 6050 ,shouldn`t be the same as it is written in the miner?
-  set the  fee to 0
-  created on new zcash adress
-  uptime 7 hours

I have a question someone might can help with. I have a machine with 2 RX 580's currently using claymores miner for equihash.
I will be getting 2 1080Ti's in tomorrow that will go in the same machine.
How can i go about setting EWBF's miner .bat file to use just the 1080Ti's and not the RX cards?

excerpt from the help file:

--cuda_devices      Space-separated list of cuda devices. Without this option all devices are used.

i.e.
--cuda_devices 0 1

It can read just CUDA GPU's with "--cuda_devices 0 1 " . That is actually pretty cool.
So that is simple enough then, thank you so much. Alot more simpler then i expected.

I just got a hold of some GTX Titan X cards with 12 gigs of memory.

I'm testing out this miner for the first time, I'm usually using AMD cards.

I have 2 cards in and running against flypool, however I'm only seeing about 390 Sol/s per card.  Does this seem right for such a high end card?

I haven't done any over clocking and just installed MSI afterburner, from what I read the only really thing to tweak on Nvidia cards is the memory clock ?

Any suggestions on how to push this card.

Windows 7, Drivers 22.21 (ForceWare 383.53)..

GPU Clock Default 1000 MHz, Memory 1753 Mhz , Boost (?) 1076 MHz
Memory GDDR5 (Hynix)

Thanks!

Is it the pascal version? Cuz the benchmarks on this page > http://www.zcashbenchmarks.info/ say the titan x pascal is pulling around 800 sol/s, but the earlier titan x's are pulling around 400..

Pools estimate hashrate based on solved shares - which you're always going to lose a few on due to internet lag, you lose some when you're mining on a share and a new block shows up, and shares also tends to vary a lot.

The hashrate at the pool will NEVER consistantly match what the miner is reporting, and long-term is ALWAYS going to be a little lower.

Good catch, its the 2015 one that can be pushed up to around 466.. Im still scratching my head because the core/memory settings on that site list 1306/7010 which well

add --fee 0 in the .bat file. not sure if there are any impacts to performance (such as decreased speeds, etc.).

It's worker name, some (most?) pools support assigning different rigs to different workers to monitor them separately.

you guys do not trust in the developer BUT do you ask the same guy to tell you is there anything that will decrease your performance if you set the fee to 0, right? is there any meaning of this?

how much time do you need guys to test this? 5 min? to write a fee 0 then write a fee 2 or leave it empty?

yeah 5 mins maximum, but ok, sit and wait couple of days for the answer from the developer, because he has time for this...

but i tell you the answer shortly, no, it does not.

Those are ungrateful lazy people who dont want to work but only willing to wait for the payday.
We should just ignore them and never answer their questions from now and for the next 10 years.

I tried, but the --intensity option does not work at the current version.
