how can i set the Fee to 0? Does that have any Impact? (beside the obvious...)

add --fee 0 in the .bat file. not sure if there are any impacts to performance (such as decreased speeds, etc.).

Up. Same question

sitting wait for the answer....

you guys do not trust in the developer BUT do you ask the same guy to tell you is there anything that will decrease your performance if you set the fee to 0, right? is there any meaning of this?

how much time do you need guys to test this? 5 min? to write a fee 0 then write a fee 2 or leave it empty?

yeah 5 mins maximum, but ok, sit and wait couple of days for the answer from the developer, because he has time for this...

but i tell you the answer shortly, no, it does not.

smh, seriously! I'm sure these leeches would love to write a program that makes others money, continuously update it, answer a billion questions, all for goddam free! If I was ewbf, I'd hard code a minimum 1%, and that's just pennies, I'd buy that guy at least a beer for all his efforts. You people asking for a 0% fee have no appreciation, I hope it slows your miners down if you do, and reduces the algorithm difficulty for me.

you are right, it would be easier for everybody if the developer just put a default fee value which is not changeable... like in case of mining pools, everybody uses them, everybody pays the fees and nobody cries because of it...
everybody can see that this fee thing confuses the beginners... so I suggest to the developer to just remove it and use a standard global fee.

i have something to ask that i cant figure out on my own

I have a few rigs running aorus extremes running https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-N1080AORUS-X-8GD#kf
they run at about 600 sols at a temp of 60c
Then i have a few rigs running the 1080 strix https://www.asus.com/us/Graphics-Cards/ROG-STRIX-GTX1080-O8G-GAMING/
they run at 540 - 560 sols each ... at 54c
My question is will i be able to get the strix to run at 600sols and how wil i do it
I have been playing around with the clocks and they dont budge up or down . Does not make a drop of sense to me
Maybe some one in here can assist

Cheers

How are you getting 600 sol/s on the aorus?! These can easily pull 720 stock (740 w/mininal oc)

720 stock with a 1080? Or 1080ti?

@fanatic26 is right, 1080ti.  I misunderstood @ZarKing. You get 720 sol/s stock with the aorus 1080ti extreme. They're real finicky though, I had to OC in very small increments, otherwise they crash, 740-750 is the max sol/s you'll see out of that card unless ewbf works his magic and is able to squeeze more out of them.

How many Sol/W are you pulling?

According to the power efficiency calculator 2.55 sol/w, 300 watts per card

You should be getting much better Sol/W. I'm doing 770 Sol/s at 250 watts per card. I have 2 MSI GTX1080Ti's

So far its happend once every 24 hours which is annoying since im losing out on many hours.

Here is a screenshot of when it happends

https://prnt.sc/fpoo6p

Compare the time in the miner to the time on my pc and you will see the difference

Those are ungrateful lazy people who dont want to work but only willing to wait for the payday.
We should just ignore them and never answer their questions from now and for the next 10 years.

(I know I have a low post count) - why ask a question that was answered 2 pages ago... I am surprised how much information on this entire subject can be researched, cross examined, and tested so readily.

1044mv Voltage

Possible issues: gigabyte engine? mem too fast (stock settings)?  Huh

Same here. I'm using Windows 8.1, miner version 0.3.4b. I tried with task scheduler to delay the startup of the miner. however the miner runs in the background if it starts as a scheduled task, which is annoying. If there is some in built option to delay the initialization of the miner like the option in Claymore it would be more convenient.

Maybe try MSI afterburner and see if they are the same, also afterburner is in my opinion the best for overclocking. MSi afterburner shows 5702 for me which is 11404 actual so you're losing a bit at memory clock which is key when mining Equihash(ZEC)

Also with these 1080ti's less voltage seems to give better performance much lower power consumption and thermals compared to more voltage so try lowering the voltage to 1000mv or under, you might need to lower your core clock also to keep it stable.

If you are using the v3.4 version you can add --log 1 to your miner line and it will create a miner.log file in the same directory as the miner executable.  Unfortunately there is no date/timestamp so you won't know the times it had the error, but it can help track it down.

Originally I was using the on error exit code of 3, but if it can't connect to the pool then the miner was stopping.  For my case it was easier to just take out the exit code and let it run.

I'm using Win10 and what I did to prevent the miner from starting before MSI Afterburner did the GPU OC was to add this before my miner line:

TIMEOUT /T 20 /NOBREAK

This will make the bat file wait 20 seconds before launching the miner.  If it takes 5 mins for your internet to come back up, you could put 300 sec delay in very easy...

GaryH provided an answer for Windows.  For linux, use the "sleep" command.
In your script, above the ./miner line, add a line that says "sleep 300s"  or "sleep 5m"

You might try "man sleep" at a console prompt to get all the details on "sleep" command.

Oh, GaryH: suggest leaving off the NOBREAK option. Unless you have monkeys sitting at your console, nobody will be hitting Crtl-C generally. And someday you might want to break if off to make Afterburner changes or something.

hello dev, please support SSL connection.

 Why?

There is no REAL value to a miner to waste the time setting up a SSL connection (it doesn't impact anything once it IS up, but it takes noticeably longer TO set up, which is one of my issues with Claymore in these days of pools getting DDOSed and going down for short periods on a frequent basis, AND his switching pools to do his "fee" stuff).

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

actually I found my rig was still bootin up was my best guess and it was simply going around the 20 sec delay so I add the NOBREAK to make sure the delay isn't interrupted..
