This is sad for those who took the biggest risk early on but pretty nice for those who are still down.

Looks like we are going to default on all investments where (originally invested)-(withdrawn)<0 that are still within the system.

Another Bitcoin casino is going to get all the players and repay their debt.

What is left of Casinobit is being sold to new owners (which is essentially the domain name), they will repay the remaining investors.

A list of debt will be processed and put publicly.

I am not an investor, but I don't understand your statement regarding defaults. Do you mean (originally invested)-(withdrawn)>0 (i.e. all outstanding investments)?

I think the most equitable way to do it would be to try to repay investors with (invested)-(withdrawn) and ignore any profits, since they were never right. Or at least pass that list on to the new owners--I think that may be what you are trying to say. Of course, some investers who withdrew more than their original investment (because of profits) made out really well at the expense of other investors.

As I understand, he his going to default on who already got profit, e.g. invested 5 coins, withdraw 10, 5 - 10 = -5, less than 0.

This is sad for those who took the biggest risk early on but pretty nice for those who are still down.

Not the ultimate option but honestly a pretty decent one.  I know you were one of the early guys but you went positive with withdrawls.

Just making everyone whole is pretty decent imo.

Agree.

And I'd like he could elaborate a little more, it seems every debt is going to be paid...

To clarify, there have been investors that already withdrew, 2, 3, 5 times the original amount invested by them yet still hold debt, their debt is discarded and will not be repaid.

The new owners will use the same domain but will completely wipe all the records of accounts, all the website and all the content and start all over again. Sorry for the bumpy ride guys.

I will also make sure the new owners will not start collecting investments until the debt is repaid.

So I'm assuming that I will not get anything back as which I have still on the site, as I got back a lot more than I put in. So What if I just start betting with this money and I then win? Will I get my winnings then?

As usual a few questions remain. E. g. Who is the new owner? When will the site be sold? When will we be repaid?

Thought of betting the max with my 42% of the site bankroll trying to bust everyone else investment crossed my mind, but it would be a waste of my time.

The site hasn't been accepting any new bets for several days( I think since Sunday), a bit late for that  Wink

I really liked the idea and concept of live feed and played a lot and got lucky here and there. Anybody knows what's gonna happen to the live feed? will the new owner use it? Grin

IMHO the deal is decent enough for everybody. At the very least (if you were one of the early investors) you didn't loose your coins, those profits weren't right to begin with so you shouldn't really be banking on it, and the late investors won't loose their original investment. I just hope they pay out their betters as well  Wink

[...] and the late investors won't loose their original investment. [...]

Forgot to ask: what about the investment returns? E.g. I have invested 10 BTC and my balance shows 10.8 at the current time. Will I be able to withdraw the full balance or just my original 10 BTC? Would be good to know.

I'm guessing here, but i think it depends when on you invested that 10BTC. I believe if you are one the early investor most likely you won't get anything unless you never withdrew your initial investment plus whatever amount of profit with it. However if you are one the late investors you might be able to get the profit that is showing in your balance, but after all I'm just basing this on what I understand from casinobit's post.

I invested the funds on August 18th (2 BTC) and on August 20th (8 BTC). However I think I can consider myself lucky if I am able to withdraw my initial investment after all that waiting. Anything else would be greedy I guess given the current situation.

Getting back the initial investment would be better than nothing, but imo it is not fair to give late investors just what they invested and early investors made 300% and more profit. i have over 40 btc in there and hope to get them out soon.
