I look forward to seeing this project come out. Photos in paris are good in . It's nice to see that investors are trying to make something out of it. Did the start date of the first sales be certain?

So at exactly what price and how many tokens were purchased by Roger Ver and these other "angel investors"?

Interesting project with interesting team behind it. Whitepapers, website, and everything looks very professional. Keeping my eye on this one. I guess my only concern, like many others, is that only 51% of funds are sold to ICO investors and the rest is being kept by the team et al. 49% token share + all the money you are going to raise through the ICO seems ridiculous (and unprecedented).
And it appears the distribution numbers don't take into account inflation from PoS either? Or am I missing something? It says 51% will be distributed to community (through ICO), 20% team/angels, 20% business development, and 9% for research etc. But then there will also be coins produced through PoS that aren't included in this breakdown, right? So there will be more inflation/share dilution that an ICO investor needs to be aware of. What is the breakdown of the inflation due to PoS?
Also, as a potential investor I wish only BTC was being used to fund development and research instead of the using a share of the tokens. You plan to sell 29% shares of the token to generate funds over 3-4 years, which is going to drive the price down during that time. And when you say "Ultimately, 100% tokens will be allocated to the community so that Qtum can become a truly open source community." Isn't that just the same as saying you are also going to sell your 20% team/angel shares?

why is the Crowdsale through mostly chinese sites and exchanges? we know we can not trust the chinese exchanges or chinese government... so why are you using them? this is disgusting... i've got BTC that I cant withdrawl from chinese exchanges why on earth would you use a site like yunbi in your crowdsale? dont you want to protect your users from corrupt government and exchanges?

Qtum devs should rethink the ICO process. They should stick with only one source of participating which should be through the official website. Forget about all the Chinese exchanges. Since only 51% of the tokens will be offered during the ICO, there's a possibility of the exchanges purchasing up many of the tokens to resell at a higher price. Also, many of us have never heard of those exchanges.
I am of the same opinion. I second this motion...the use of corrupt exchanges controlled by a corrupt government is a disgusting thought... These exchanges can not be trusted... why on earth are they being used for the crowdsale? WTF

To be honest, the way this ICO is being structured, it will favor the Chinese investors/exchange owners and the Angel backers. 51% of tokens being offered on 4 different Chinese exchanges, meaning each one will offer about 13 million tokens. I have no doubt the exchanges will be buying up a chunk of that and reselling it at a much higher rate. Too many different ICO sources leaves too many opportunities for manipulation.

Yes, BTC only is better, ETH funding is in fluctuation. 20% business development is too much, it is a part of the team too. 9% research is as well. So the team holds too many tokens.

Tell me if I'm wrong, but I don't think the price is known yet. The price is usually extremely high in the first few days and then goes down to a stable one (talking about altcoins), but I don't think anyone can really say how much will the price be.. I think it'll be high though, I'm interested in this announcement.

it seems in china, people know dev team will only hold less than 13% of the total token. 7% coin for 1400BTC already sold out to all the angel investor. so it's 20% = 7% (private investor for 1400BTC, Roger Ver or Anthony will not sell their token for small profit. ,why you worry) + 13% (hold by dev team and distribute to team member in next 4 years ) another 20%= 10% for coinswap(with some good project) + 10% support 10 industry(each industry support 1%) ( will be hold by PWC, transfer to community later) 9%= academic research and education, cooperate with Best university and also promotions of Qtum adoption.( will be hold by PWC,transfer to community later)51%= crowdsale, will be hold by community. Read the https://qtum.org/whitepaper/ blockchain economy whitepaper guys.. also join the Chinese wechat group, so you can get more informations. since all Chinese people know the details..

Seems like this project is favoring Chinese investors and Angel backers. Less than 2 weeks left before the ICO and there's no details on Bitcointalk yet.

If those tokens are needed to fund the coin-swap, development, research, etc then they are going to have to sell those shares to generate the funds they need to finance those things.
