Typing my name into google reveals my identity in the first 2 results. Alternatively https://theqrl.org/presale and our team page lists all members of the team from a keybase ID. We are completely open about our identities and I certainly wouldn't participate in any form of crowdsale without access to that information.

lol I found this project just through some semi-deep searching and I immediately felt the gut feeling that has gotten me and friends so many successful picks in terms of alt-coins. That, coupled with the transparency and quick reply from Peter makes me 100% certain I'm gonna bet on this one. This particular concept for blockchain application seems to have no competition currently and therefore first to market (which judging by presale it will successfully hit market).

Just because a dev is transparent does not mean a project will be financially successful (which denotes success of the project ideally, because in capitalism the value will increase with its utility) but you add everything up, most important of all that feeling in your gut, and I really think we have a winner here. one of the next to be 'known' by the bigger community like ether and bitcoin.

eth after all was just another stupid alt coin to many people...many fools I should say!

Initial distribution will be 65 million coins (quanta).

From this it doesnt look fixed, but it includes the presale and the (possibly) following ICO, so I dont think you will know the price untill the ICO ends.

So to elaborate, there's no way to test the resistance against anything quantum computing capable, due to technology not being there yet? So as of right now, this quantum resistance is theoretical if I read that correctly?

Update:
- blockchain explorer API complete.
- units now accurate down to smallest denomination
- block reward implemented and accurate down to smallest denomination (tricky with python, floating point math inaccurate across OSes, had to use decimal.Decimal)
- started to implement some network latency measurements.
- begun packaging the node as separate binaries in preparation for a testnet release.

Upcoming:
- blockchain explorer to be made public shortly.
- Transition to alpha POS block selection algorithm over next month.

I will be looking for one or more early alpha testers of the test node in the next week or so. Anyone interested in being a Hal Finney please pm me (you will receive a % of the ICO as a reward).

Please be aware that you'll only be getting 30% if the cap isn't reached before the 24th of may.
If for example a cap of 2 mil is reached, those investors will get 30% extra in comparison to the ones buying in after the 24th of may.
If 3.9 mil is reached, only the last 0.1 mil investors will get less. So basicly presale participants should hope on not reaching the cap of 4 mil before the 24th of may.

In my opinion it should be considered to close the sale if the 24th of may is reached and the Tier 2 cap of 2 mil is reached. This would mean not only presale investors will get double the amount of coins, but also the foundation. If the cap of 4 mil is reached, I can see this project start with a marketcap at coinmarketcap around 4 or 5 mil. If the cap of 2 mil is reached and there won't be an additional ico, I think the project will still start with a marketcap at coinmarketcap around 4 mil. This would mean the foundation will hold the same value ad they would when the ico continues till a 4 mil cap, but makes the coin/token much more scarce and I think it can grow much faster. As someone who missed the presale or ico, I'd rather step in a project with a llow cap set for primairy funding than a project with a high cap.

This is from their Presale terms, so I believe there is a sort of it (even though all the keys are held by the founding members..):

Bitcoin and Ethereum multi-signature addresses to be accepted for pre-sale funding deposits (2-of-3 m-of-n multisig with keys held separately by 3 different founding members of the QRL).
