Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal?

As long as more people will get into bitcoin, and also governments supports bitcoin, it'll pretty sure that bitcoin will overcome paypal it will surpassed it someday

Yes, there is a possibility that they can overcome and replaced the paypal. From the excellence they have nothing is such impossible to them to achieve .

Certainly it could be bitcoin as paypal paypal, not even so close, we are talking about currency, but here is not a payment that is too high, bitcoin very potential to replace some of the most powerful currency ever. Paypal is nothing compared to bitcoin like heaven and earth.

Bitcoin is a digital currency and PayPal is a payment gateway, no where bot are similar in anything. PayPal uses there interface to exchange fiat across borders but bitcoin uses it's own digital currency as payment currency and payment interface as well through exchanges. I think you need to comparison itself is wrong in terms of two different entity.

The time will come that bitcoin will overcome Paypal. I can say this because bitcoin is a very promising career. One can earn a lot of money in bitcoin so someday it will supersede Paypal.

bitcoin and paypal are still simillar in any ways because they both can be used in payment gateway online. although bitcoin is just advance and have more features than paypal  due to the fact that it can be used in almost any things , like for example it can act as a currency, investment tool,  trading assets , mining sources , etc. However paypal is just prone to frauds and illegal activities because it is revesible or can be chargeback after you already made a payment, that is why bitcoin can indeed overcome it in terms of usage and credibity.

Bitcoin could overcome Paypal in terms of popularity and usage, once it experiences mainstream adoption. Although, last year was very bright for Bitcoin with a lot of users getting into it, the pioneer cryptocurrency is still unknown to many people in the world. Therefore, it would take some time before Bitcoin could become a big payments system that could stand alongside Paypal for years to come. Of course, Bitcoin needs some major improvements to allow this to happen, but I'm confident that it will slowly get there in the future.

Nevertheless, whenever Bitcoin overcomes Paypal or not, it will still be an alternative payments system against centralized solutions allowing anyone to start using it without verifications or other requirements. Just my opinion

PayPal is a very popular payment system. It is known in many countries of the world. Bitcoin still can not compare with it. These systems are not competitors to each other.

In September 2014, PayPal announced it will accept bitcoin, but will integrate with Braintree, their mobile payment platform. But since payment processors have been cut off from Ebay, their growth has slowed.

I wish it could but I don't really think so. Bitcoin prices are always fluctuating. People treat it more as an investment rather than currency. The only way for it to overcome Paypal is to become stable first which I don't think would happen.

No bitcoin will not be able to overcome paypal. They have a different role and will walk side by side. Process bitcoin as buyer through paypal but as stated earlier also that there are too many scammers out there and you should be careful.

You never know and it's really hard to call where any crypto will be in years to come but there is a chance ... I wouldnt say a big chance though. Paypal is so integrated into many retail sites and is simple and quick to use ... Bitcoin needs to get to those levels before it's remotely possible.

Yes, the company of bitcoin will overcome and replace the paypal in this commercial industry. Bitcoin has a big potential to achieve this since they have a huge supports from the people if this thing happen, there is a big chance to consider bitcoin as a local currency.

Same. Bitcoin needs more time to improve itself and become a full-fledged cryptocurrency. It is only the beginning since many scalable solutions are being explored to help increase Bitcoin's transaction capacity. When all of this is done, then Bitcoin may become closer as a better alternative for payments than PayPal. Maybe within 10 - 15 years from now, we would be able to see a stronger Bitcoin capable of doing this. But in the meantime, it is quite distant to compare it against PayPal.

While PayPal has the trust and confidence from many businesses around the world since its inception, Bitcoin could also reach the same level of PayPal once its addresses its limitations. We all know that Bitcoin is the future, so it would only be a matter of time before people being using more Bitcoin than PayPal for payments. Just my opinion

PayPal is still the most trusted and used payment processor in the world with a wider audience than Bitcoin. Paypal is a payment processor using fiat currency, bitcoin is a currency itself. I think with the continuing increase of bitcoin in the market, A time will come that bitcoin will surpass paypal. Bitcoin has lower fees than Paypal.

I answered maybe, because it depends on Bitcoin itself. As of now, bitcoin isn't used enough to overcome PayPal, but if it improves to become a currency that anyone can use with fast and cheap transactions then bitcoin will overcome PayPal in the future.

Yes, bitcoin will overcome paypal. I don't know much about paypal, I'm deciding too biased for bitcoin but I'm basing it on the ease of usage. I'm so satisfied and comfortable when it comes to sending and receiving money using bitcoin plus the advantage of earning profit. BTC > PAYPAL.
