I sold 2/3 my stash at $1,000 and used it as a down payment on my dream house. I have no regrets. Be careful to not feel the need to hodl forever and enjoy life.

when the price of bitcoin is above $ 1,250, I think it would not hurt to sell bitcoin what you have. well, that is the highest price I've seen so far. so, you're not going to lose to sell it when the price is high.
Yes the price reached to a very good position but selling now will be only a fool decision because the price has not stopped to increase but increasing continuously and will reach to more higher within this month and all of those who will not sell will be happy with their high profit with bitcoin. |

It is really cool to hear about a price of 4k if you are holding some coins .The early investors must be having a good party time. In my opinion you have to wait for the news regarding the ETF and come to a conclusion whether to hold or sell.If it is approved then the price would climb for sure. |

We must monitor the of buying and selling because that is always moving up high as well. The better signs became remarkable this days of $1,100 will be gaining more value and it’s a good signs for now to wait until it will possibly climb up to $3k, and if that happens cash it out for fiat cash money for you to benefit but don't dumpt it all, just have some holdings.. Sell your bitcoin when it reached the price that you wish, probably it will gain the big profit that you ever hope for a long time.

If thats the case then i will not sell any of my bitcoins, all i will do is to wait after weeks and sell some. Cause bitcoin today is worth waiting for. I will not sell as long as the price will not reach the 2000$. Whether ETF will be approved of not in my opinion there will be no change/ Just look with bitcoin's price right now, we don't have ETF but the price is competitively high. And if you will keep on holding if there's no approval, we can still expect bitcoin to keep on pumping because of its current price. People will be attracted especially new comers will be investing to bitcoin. Have you ever heard of influence? Speculation of traders influenced by the upcoming ETF decision? Aside from that the possible manipulation at this current stage is also the concern. If ETF is disapproved, we can see price going down the dip depends on how these manipulators want to play the market.
I am always a fan of waiting but if ever you wanted to secure a profit, you can sell a certain percentage of your holdings and wait for the other percentage. |

I am always a fan of waiting but if ever you wanted to secure a profit, you can sell a certain percentage of your holdings and wait for the other percentage. I'm thinking with that move, I'm thinking to sell before the day of ETF's approval result and for sure when it will be disapproved price will go down. And there will be bunch of sell orders but I assume after selling the price will keep on growing up again since many will have the buying power. I guess those manipulators will do something unexpected on that day. Probably I'll sell maybe on March 10 and will buy again after the result issuance. |

I see that you have a profit if it sells bitcoin at that time, because at that time the price of the bitcoin is still stable ($ 1000), but now the price of the bitcoin far more $1000 and I have confidence in the next week or next month price bitcoin can reach $1200. Yes, I feel regretful for you. The price will be at least 1350$ at the end of this month and it will be at 1,500$ in May ,2017. I always buy and hold bitcoin when it's down so I just use about 5% of my total bitcoins for everything. it seems as cost saving at the moment. |

Price increase is happening continuously. So selling bitcoin now is a good decision to make a good profit. Holding for a long will surely benefit the users. Selling or waiting for a better profit now should be decided on one's own plan. I believe with small difference in price one can make a good profit placing small margin. |

I would say sell it. The Downside is that Quantum Computing will be rising in commercial usage, which means the BTC protocol will need to be strengthened. I've heard recent blockchain conference in Sydney, Australia and at a technical briefing, it was postulated that there was a 1 in 14 chance bitcoin would be hacked with Quantum Computing.
With the SHA-256 cryptographic algorithm (at the very core of BTC’s design), the chances of anyone randomly guessing a correct private key combination is estimated to be one in 115 quattuorvigintillion– that's a 1 followed by 77 zeros! Now that sounds like a big number – and it is – there are more private key combinations than there are grains of sand on the planet.
Currently it would take around 0.65 billion, billion years to hack. With quantum computing this will dramatically change.
In the absence of a hack - I think we will see somewhere between $12,500 - $15,000 per bitcoin.
With a hack of the protocol - it will fall close to zero - until a massive patch is put in place, and gradually rise from a zero base.
I think the protocol will evolve over time to overcome this risk but it is an important one worthy of consideration.

The price is experiencing increase and it will increase more with the passage of time so it is not better to sel now but wait for more longer and you will see that in the coming days you will get a best chance to earn with price rise. |
