Technology is not always a good thing.
One example is with the children.
In the old days, children used to play outside with their friends.
Now majority of them are just staring at their iPads.
I have cousins and they would rather stay inside their houses to play with tablets, laptops, desktop computers or mobile phones than to play with each other outside. Sometimes, they would play with each other but with their gadgets of course. I don't like how the custom norms of playing outdoor games are being took away by the technology. I know that modern technology is really helpful in so many things but to think there are things being sacrificed and forgotten by this generation makes me feel sad.
It is not only the children, but sometimes the adults too. That if the calculator is broken they can not make a simple calculation because they have forgot it. If the home TV has a malfunction and they lose their favorite show they feel nervous. Someone can imagine how they are if they don't have their smartphones. So is all the society and only the kids |

Technology has many negative effects like it leads to lack of social skills, isolation, obesity and it is changing the way people think. Nowadays people just google things up. They dont think much about the problems and how to solve that themselves.

I was so pissed off this afternoon because I asked my son to do the some house chores like washing the plates. When I come back he still didn't do it and instead he is still on his tablet playing. So I still give him a chance to do the chores so he obliged. But unfortunately, he break a plate. I was so mad at him for doing that, so I confiscated the tablet for now. I think he is to attached to the virtual world because his mind is pre-occupied with something that he totally forgotten where to properly put the plate. I have to discipline him, otherwise it will get worse. He is 10 years of age.

Every creation has positive and negative side, it depends on you how you can use it. Basically, technology made our life easier then before. Our communication system has been tremendously developed with the help of technology but some times it is used in a wrong purpose.
It should be controlled and identified those criminals who usually create panic through this modern invention.

Lights can keep people awake but it doesn't make the invention of artificial light bad. You can just turn it off when you go to bed. Its like saying there is a negative side to having an arm because it can be used to punch someone.

Now people do not know how to communicate with their families and because of this, quarrels and misunderstandings arise. I can still control my time with gadgets. |

Gadgets and social networks is not a hindrance to communication. Moreover they are likely to promote this. What prevents you to communicate with your neighbors in the social network or via Skype. And if your friends are in another country? How many times a year you can communicate with them on a normal phone before, but now. |

Gadgets and social networks is not a hindrance to communication. Moreover they are likely to promote this. What prevents you to communicate with your neighbors in the social network or via Skype. And if your friends are in another country? How many times a year you can communicate with them on a normal phone before, but now. Both of you are in the right direction. matchi2011 was talking about the normal communication that people should do (person to person conversation), and with the latest technology it lessen that chance due to the use of social media/network. In reverse, matuson was saying that technology helps people to communicate with this social networks, specially with those people that is miles away from each other. To sum it up, we can say that technology have both negative and positive effects. (I didn't thought about matuson views on this, pretty clever  ) |

That are all good side of technology, but sadly there are bad things that comes with technology too. Some applications are made to be addictive, and it is in interest of company that made them to be used as much as possible. There is the real problem, and in people that would rather live in fantasy world than to confront reality. |

Technology makes people lazy... effects on children and teen age alike now= laziness to work and help at home because of their busyness in their gadgets =social media or games... they become not so serious in school... as well. For adults, everything made easy for them due to technology but they tend to forget that their bodies sometimes need extra curricular activities (sweating) to make our body strong and healthy so how can that be if every work we do will make technology easy to do.  |
