People become obese, with depression, pretend to be what they are not, lack social ties, become addicted to technology

One obvious thing is that technology really breaks distance in the way that those who are near are getting far from each other because of technology. Example of this is when saying 'I love you' to you mom or dad, you manage to tell it to the whole world using internet but you can't say it to them in person. Despite of positive effects of technology, there's also a lot of negative effects. One example is the children is becoming more lazy than the children before, because they always rely to the advancement of the technology. Like for example the mobile phone, the children before they are using text books to research and do their assignments, while the children in this era don't need the books any more because every information is in the internet already and the negative of it is not every information in the internet if true, accurate and reliable. It's more advisable if we still use textbooks.

I agree with you that it really makes distance between those who were close and makes closer those who are in distance.  We can have friends with someone miles away but can never have a smile or a small talk with our neighbors.  We know someone far far away but hard to tell who is the new family in your neighborhood.  We are not afraid to tell what is on our mind when we are in front of computers but so shy to tell it personally to person.  We are like that because we have this idea that they are not seeing you so you can say whatever you want.

Those cases could lead to more problematic things that can happen to your child like being exposed to violent videos and gore videos that children shouldn't watch at an early age, because they cannot be exposed to that unless you want them to be like that and that's not good, you are probably raising kids to be criminals or something. They should be somewhat mature in an early stage so you can make them understand what's really happening in the world and not confusing them to what's not real.

"Laziness" that's the number one answer for me. Your body also need some physical activity in order to be fit but, if you let technologies do it for yourself then face the consequences.

It's not technology's fault that people sit on their asses instead of working out. Laziness is a person's own fault because whether or not it's convenient for them with technology, if a person is lazy and doesn't do anything about it, then its no use. Technology can push forward society's advancement and that's always a good thing. The negative effects of technology are dependent on people and can be negated if people will only do something about it.

People became lazy because they are paying more attention on technology rather than on physical activity. Technology is a diversion from what people should really do. For example, the natural way of sweeping the floor is to used broom that's why your body is really worked out, but with the used of vacuum cleaner you only exert less effort to swept the floor and your body did not even reach the minimum rate of work it needs daily.

What you have given are the same with what I think the negative effects of technology. Yes, it is a big help for us nowadays but overusing it can really bring us negatives. But it depends on their parents,  if the parents know how to discipline their child and letting to know their limits in gadgets no problem with that. For me the most negative effects of technology to me is its give me so much head pain, and sometimes I can't sleep.
