Technology is not always a good thing.

One example is with the children.
In the old days, children used to play outside with their friends.
Now majority of them are just staring at their iPads.

Just because they are on their Ipads doesn't mean they aren't playing with their friends

Children of this generation see the digital world as an extension of the real one, which it is. They connect with others just as much through digital platforms as physically in person.
It is easy for you, as someone who likely developed their ideals before the widespread adoption of the internet, to view technology as separate to real life.

This is the kind of thinking older generations need to let go of.
The digital world is, and will continue to be, an extension of our 'real' world, not an addition to it.

Yes you are right about future and technology. But problem is that, that there are more and more people who tend to trade there real life for imaginary one. And children tend to watch in technology rather than to play with there friends outside. I do not say that is in all cases, but it could evolve in much bigger problem. And not to mention that some people are dependent on some technology, that they do not know how to deal with some things with out it... Technology is future, but some things need to be watched carefully, because it can lead to bigger problems.

Why is their digital life 'imaginary'?
They interact with friends, learn new things, develop skills, have fun. What makes this 'Imaginary'. If you are referring to the games which are played rather than general digital use then how is this different to playing 'imaginary' games outside? For example kids used to play make believe games pretending to be cowboys and Indians or playing house etc. The minds of kids in general are 'imaginary'.
Technology is not a blame for anything. All it does is exacerbate perceived problems so we notice them more. These 'problems' are just human nature.

The main problem with technology is how they are making people asocial.
In the past, we were communicating more and more. People came together and shared more.
Now we live virtually everything. And we communicate less. But besides these, technology has made human life much easier.

I think advantages outweigh the disadvantages. I spend a lot of my time on my computer, simply because it helps me with anything from fun to work and it makes my life so much easier. Of course, on the side I go to college, play basketball, work out, play guitar,etc. so I'm not glued to the screen 24/7 and I think it's fine when you look from that perspective.

One thing I do hate about the technology is how people use things like social media. They totally forget what's important in life and build around their fake personas, just for that dopamine rush when you get a like or a new message.

Anything beyond limit is always a harm to the human beings. This can be felt in a large scale on children. Children easily get attached to the technology development, it need to be taught about the requirement as well the harm accompanying the same. In my view health issues were the one that found much on children because of the technology.

I too agree with you. today we have machines for everything, these machines make people very lazy. We can do anything without any move. Because of this technological growth we lost our physical work, so we are getting lot of diseases especially diabetics and heart problems. and we also lose the company of our neighbors.

We need to look at this from the other side. The technologies have made our life much easier and have freed us time for a hike in nature and rest with the family, and not for sitting in front of the TV.

It really hampers our daily life, because we are getting dependent on it but sometimes we are facing difficulties by these types of techno based hazard. Also pornography is one of the main negative side of technology, people are getting addicted to it and losing huge time on it.

It is true that there are a lot of advantages than disadvantages of technology but it is also true that these disadvantages can become destructive which range from different severity that is by abusing the use of technology of course. The solution I see is to use it in a moderation by being responsible and use it in a productive way rather than use it in nonsense matters. Don't get me wrong; you can play games to entertain yourself and might as well get away from your exhausting life but don't abuse it like spending most of your time with this because you need to limit yourself because addiction with this will lead you to waste your time even more.

Whether technology will do us good or bad depends on us so be wise and be responsible.

Negative effects of technology are not seen well enough trough the eyes of individual. Will someone sit at home on computer all day, or outside is not important, negative effects of technology can be seen in nature. I believe that world on global scale is wounded, and this world is bleeding.

This is not a huge technology problem, because it depends on the strength of the will of man and his greed. After all, a normal person who has a moral basis will not engage in cyber-attacks and watch porn.

In my observation even we could tell what are good and bad sides of technology to our body and mentality, as for example what causes the high population risk on brain damages? For me, Technology is like electricity. If you use it correctly, it is so powerful and will light up your house and makes you productive. But if you grab or install it incorrectly, then your in very big trouble. Technology will be negative if the pattern is wrong, once it's right it will be great.
