Hello, I am new here, so I don't know if this is the right place to ask this question.

My hard drive died and I lost my pascal lite wallet with it, but I have my keys backed up, or so I thought. My problem is that my private key is 64 chars long and when I am trying to import it the wallet rejects it. I think that the problem is that I just copied the key from the bottom box and didn't exported as normal so it is in a different format.

If there is an easy way to recover it, which probably there is, because I have the unencrypted version of the key, please let me know.

As of the difficult way: I tried all shorts of stuff, like making a new key and converting the export (128 chars long) of the new key from HEX and the result was Salted__ and some other stuff. So, as logical there is some salt added before the conversion of the key and even without password the exported is different every time. I tried reverse engineering it for a while with no luck. Then I tried injecting my private key into the wallet while I was exporting another key but it didn't work either. Finally I thought that maybe someone from the more experienced could give me a hand so here I am Grin

Currently there is no easy way to do that.
But in general having a plain private key is more that enough. Contact me on slack, i will help you to recover your funds.

bittrex requires 3btc to list maybe we can donate

i can donate 0.1btc.

Hm, not a bad point. Crowdfunding might be an option. At the time of reading your post, some idea just came to me.

What if miners will donate their hashrate?

Some numbers:
Right now we need to mine with ~115 GH/s for 1 month to reach 3 BTC.

For example, we can give 3 options to make a donations:
1. Donate your hashrate (i will implement some handy solution for miners wiling to donate some amount of their hashrate)
2. Donate PASL (i.e. send it to 0-10 with payload "BITTREX")
3. Donate BTC

If our community is ready for it, I will code some special place on the web (most probably on the main PascalLite web page) to tracking the crowdfunding progress.

Any news about this plan? It would be nice if the miner comminity would finance a listing on an exchange. Might help growing in user numbers as well as market cap.

If you are interested in contributing for a Bittrex listing, list the amount of BTC you can pledge and if we have enough support we will start the crowdfunding.

For example,

Alice: 0.1 BTC
Bob: 0.1 BTC
Carol: 0.25BTC
-----------------
Total: 0.45BTC

We will see how much interest there is and we will take it from there. This is just a pledge, no need to send BTC anywhere.

I must not be understanding you.  Account 9-29 already has 22,233 PASL in it... if you need an account you can mine for one at https://pasl.fairpool.xyz/ as well, you don't necessarily have to buy one.  They are pretty cheap though.   Smiley

I'd be willing to donate at least .1 BTC to get us listed on Bittrex.

Thanks for your reply.

Well, they are pretty cheap, found some accounts for 0.05 PASL, I don't have PASL to buy (either on my wallet or on my Cryptopia account). I'm getting errors while mining with pasl.fairpool, so asking for 1 or 0.5 PASL donation so that I can get that cheap account and fix my mining issue too. (hopefully I fix my mining issue first and get that account)

Account 9-29 is not my account, its https://accounts.pascallite.com 's PASL account for deposits, using my payload id if someone donates 0.5 or 1 PASL to 9-29 account, I can use it to buy a PASL account for 0.05 PASL.

Hope it makes sense Smiley

Which payouts are missing exactly, it looks like most of them are there?

Check the block explorer for your TXID, if its there then its the exchanges fault.
If its not there, its the pools fault.

Hi liking this project for the most part but I want to let you guys know that Bittrex does not do paid listings, it would be smart to get your facts straight on that prior to collecting money or maybe even commitments from people.  Best of luck to the project!

When I contacted them a few months ago that was the option that I was given. If you have more info on Bittrex listing then please give us more info.

No BTC has been collected yet, we want to see how much interest there is. After we get enough interest, I will contact Bittrex first before I start getting donations.

Its actually a common misunderstanding because they offer a "spotlight" for 3BTC but that option is only available to coins that are already listed on the exchange, which is only done at the discretion of the person who's job it is to make such decisions.  Thier criteria for listing has shifted over time.  I would love to see PASL over there though.

That's what I wanted to do. But the block explorer does not work. The administrator of the exchange requests a txid for scoring unsuitable funds. Feedback on the pool is silent, I made a request 2 times.

Jookly,

Do you have any contacts at Bittrex that could help with getting us listed?  I just read through the most recent "Submitting a Coin to Bittrex" page. It does say that "Launching is free and at our discretion.". Isn't PASC crowdfunding for a listing there? I wonder if they worked something out with the exchange...
