If you want to donate something then it would be best to donate to the original developer of PascalCoin, Albert. Since this coin is pretty much a clone of that coin with a few small changes.

He posted instructions in his first post of his ANN on ways of donating

Thanks, I have been mining Pasc off and on since its initial release.
Just wanted to mention,
I actually found another two blocks. One ended up with a time stamp error, the other one I watched in the wallet, chars turned from green to red then said "sent to 311-93", Block OP 237/1 and I guess it was by coincidence Server IP:174.31.29.17:4004 (dropped connection by peer) all mining operations ceased about the time I was watching all this transpire. WTF? lol.

When you are able to fix the exploit/s I plan to invite some friends by giving them the extra accounts from my one and possibly only mined block. I did do some UNIX based programming and networking in a past life so we likely share some of the same interests. I will get a node up and running soon! Take care...

Is the timestamp issue fixed or are the same 3 people getting all the blocks?

No the issue still remains. I am waiting for PascalCoin dev to see how we should proceed next.

This isn't that much of an issue as before because the blocktimes are much longer 5-10mins however now the issue is that the difficulty is very large for small miners.

I vote the first one.  colors are cool.

Maybe one day a dev will create a truly "ONLY cpu"  It seems like the home miners want one.  Large asic and gpu farms have ruined everything.  Hopefully one day the home miner will make a come back!!!

PascalCoin already made 2 fork to it, which is PascalClassic, and here is another PascalLife, what purpose prisleduet developers are cloned one coin, you think that you can imagine namaynit and Polo add to their listing and you sell 10,000% profit? It will not be complete nonsense to do this.

Thank you for your input.

Next time maybe read what you've written and do a spell check.

Ocminer can you open the pool for PASL?  Wink

I asked him about a pool and I don't think he will do one because of all the labour involved with the custom code and I don't think he wants the headache of dealing with what happened with the original PascalCoin. Right after it forked he had alot of angry miners and had alot of tedious work to do to seperate the forked/non-forked coins.

hey guys read the OP and some of the thread, but couldn't find any mention of a Nvidia miner? No point for me personally if AMD only :/
also, is the timestamp exploit fixed, or are we just allowing still someone to "cheat"? (i put it in quotations as its technically part of the code and dosent seem to be a bug as noone wants to fix it haha)  "thats not a bug its a feature"  Cheesy Cheesy
happy to see a PASC clone tho Smiley

Yeah haven't had time to update the main post. But if you look at the original PascalCoin thread there are Cuda miners there. The newer ones for the pools will not work however.

The bug still isn't fixed. PascalCoin needs to fix it first before I update the wallet.

o ok , thx man , ill get the miner from there then Smiley  ya its hard when your basically just a fork, need to wait for other updates to main wallet i totally dig that, i still think this version is the most honest PASC clone, and your a great dude (and a miner like myself) so i fully support this project.

Any news?

Not much news to report.

Most likely I will remain the dev of this coin. I spoke with a few different developers and most of them wanted to relaunch this coin with a premine or they wanted a large bounty to take-over. Basically nobody wants to work for free.

So I will continue on with this coin but just keep in mind I am a beginner programmer so don't expect anything ground-breaking. Mostly copy and paste work from the original PascalCoin.

EDIT: Congrats to RAY_________ who managed to get a full page of mined blocks.

With every new coin this is usually what happens. People mine at the beginning and then they move on to something else.

The hashrate was much larger last week peaking at 250,000 MHS.

Eventually the hashrate will go down to more bearable levels if you only have a few GPUs or a small rig.

My advice is don't mine with the newer PascalMiner 0.2. For some reason you can't find any blocks with it or you find very little compared to the older proxy miner by Volks. Either that or I just got extremely bad luck within the last 24 hours/

But you can only mine with the older R9 280X / 290 / 270x GPUs with that program.

Is anyone working with any of the exchanges to get this listed?

I think its a little too early for an exchange.

The supply is very low for an exchange right now and there are many bugs that need to be worked out first with the code.

Hopefully before an exchange we can get a pool to make mining fair for everybody and with a pool you get to use that faster stratum miner.
