Yeah, with the difficulty increase and Nicehash adding support for Pascal, we really need a pool now.

Yeah, with the difficulty increase and Nicehash adding support for Pascal, we really need a pool now.

Nicehash added Pascal but you can't mine Pascal Lite because there is no stratum support. For stratum support you need a pool first.

The difficulty is a little higher but its still possible to solo mine. Average hashrate is about 10 GH/s, which is still lower than launch which was around 200 GH/s for the first 10 days or so.

where can I get information on the bounty?

What types of jobs can you do?

Pascal Coin is updated to v 1.5.0
Ower client?

If that wallet is stable and no forking issues, I will look into updating our client to 1.5.0. However it will take a while since there are hundreds of lines of code that he added between 1.4.2 -> 1.4.3 -> 1.5.0

Regarding exchanges,

I rather not do the Off the market trading thread because in the original PascalCoin it was full of scammers and low ballers. It was also a big hassle to maintain.

There are only 2 exchanges that can list Pascal Lite. Poloniex and Cryptopia. Most likely we won't get listed on Poloniex, however we have a chance at Cryptopia.

i think listening it on a small exchange will kill the initial value, it's better if you can start bigger with bittrex if they ever take in consideration your request...

on yobit i'm on the fence, i don't know if it could be good to list it there, of course poloniex is the best choice but unless they see hype they pretty much don't care

This coin needs extra coding to be compatible with exchanges. Its not like a regular Bitcoin, Litecoin, Eth clone. Hence the reason why it took a long time to get an exchange.

Bittrex and Yobit never took the time to list PASC so I highly doubt they will go thru the extra coding to list PASL.

It will either be Cryptoia or Bitsquare.

Nice! Found my first block with-in an-hour of mining! And at the same time my first solomined block ever.

Have found two more blocks since then and I use just two hd7950 gpus (about 640 Mh/s).
I use the pascalcoinminer version 0.2. Is there a better version available.

Cryptopia seems to be very suitable exchange for this coin.

I looked into Crypotia listings. Any idea if they voluntarily list coins or do you have to pay them.

1,000,000 DOT is about 0.33 BTC.

You had just found so called "orphan" block. This means someone found a block a bit earlier than you.

F*cking miner-chiters - time drift from -8 to -15 minutes... nick wayit

As far as I know nobody does the time cheat anymore. If it says -15 seconds or so and you find a block it will be confirmed anyways.

When the diff was low, there were blocks found every 30 seconds and none of mine were rejected.

The nodes ban people who move up their clock over 60 seconds or so.

When the coin first launched it was easy to cheat because there was only 1 node. So the cheaters simply hosted a few nodes of their own to move up the time average and got away with -60 seconds block times.

I think there is a new exploit. It put timestamp 2 minutes behind to make the difficulty as high as possible, favorable to someone that uses pool or something like that.  Look at the block explorer, that user 'noabout, inbecause, lookwe' is only one person but attacking this chain with a purpose. Its good that he only uses a few rigs as others can still find blocks. What if it is someone bigger?

This is really becoming exploit city.

If version 1.5.0 from PascalCoin seems to be stable and bug free i'll upgrade our wallet also to that version. Hopefully this exploit is fixed in that version.

Looking at the Pascal Coin thread there doesn't seem to be any exploit, just people complaining about the price.
