Here's a summary from my end. After the attempted merger on your 2nd Group Buy, people backed out. Then I got two orders, then they backed out. I'm not sure about yours, but mine is dying (has 1 order that is sticking it out with me), but not yet dead.

The European group buys (more than 1) seemed to have gotten a bunch of batches ordered already. There are also a couple of USA group buys aside from yours that seemed to get a jump start (they bought the chips already before taking orders.)

Anyway, good luck to us all.

Yea, I'm @ 20 myself.  Originally planned on going with burnin but shipping chips to Germany and then getting them shipped back to the states sounded pricey, so I'm going with ryepdx for this group buy.  1 K16 + 4 K1s = happiness.

30 chips per 10,000.  256 / 10000 = .0256 or 2.56% of the group buy, which entitles you to 2.56% of the sample chips.  This gives you .768 chips.

I just got a call from some guy named Gary yesterday saying they received the chips in the shipping location in California and will be shipping them off to me today. We should get the sample chips sometimes this week. I will send pledged chips to BKK but I will need the rest for my development over here as well.

I'm pretty much almost all set as far as setting up the house. I will be 100% putting all of my efforts towards shipping the 10,000 chips when they arrive. I will work day and night. I will call in sick from work for you guys.

For a holding tank I don't use substrate. Going bare bottom because if a fish has ich it will be much much harder to treat. It's more like a QT than anything,.

This is how it will be charged:

xxx chips / 10000 * import charge. If the import charge is less than $500 I will be able to pay for the chips myself and then when I ship them out you must send me equivalent in BTC before I can ship to you.


The guy that called me asked if the values for the chips were true (I think avalon listed it as $3) ... He said it was listed as IC... he asked what is IC? I said just computer chips, he said ahhhh intergrated circuits O.o

Yes but you forget I have my own project and it is a lot of work doing this group buy as well. 8 so far and I will keep the rest for development.  I am only getting 1% (7.8BTC) for doing this group buy. If you guys don't think this is fair then please let me know.

In the address field, can I just state "Stumptown Miners"? Most likely that's where my chips will go for assembly. Not sure whats the exact address, you might want to work that out with ryepdx, since I am sure other people are planning to do the same.
