This is somewhat speculation:

BIT-X.com appears to have a rather large advertising budget as he is bidding on all 8 forum advertising slots @ 2.95 BTC each (total bid value of 23.6 BTC) so he may potentially start a big signature campaign in the future as he appears to have a large advertising budget.

It appears that his website is some kind of exchange.

EDIT: this is ~70 BTC to be shown on roughly 80% of threads on the forum for a month. PD was able to achieve a likely penetration rate for only ~25 BTC per month so it would almost certainly make sense for him to start a signature campaign as signature campaigns are generally more cost effective then forum advertising.

I think I am not the worst person with math, but when I try to do 2.95 * 8, it equals 23.6. I don't get where you are getting the 70 from?
Still if I multiply it with 4 weeks, it becomes ~90 BTC and not 70.

The forum ads are up for ~10 days not one week. 23.6*3 equals 70.8

EDIT:
The ad lasts at least 7 days starting from when I put it up. (However, if you look at the ad history you'll see that ads usually get at least 8 days, and sometimes as many as 10, but this is random and definitely not guaranteed.)
I guess you are somewhat correct depending on how long the ads stay up for. My math was assuming the ads would stay up for 10 days, not 7 or 8, but this would only make forum advertising look more attractive then it actually is.

but signature campaigns also need management.

That costs time, don't know if they have enough in the budget

This can be outsourced, both by trusting someone with the campaign funds to handle the payouts (like gaw does with evilpanda) or the campaign manager could present the information/data about paying out to the site owner in a way so that the site owner could easily validate the data and quickly handle campaign payouts.

Nope. "Very soon" according to Stunna's quote above but if that's PD3 time we're talking it could be years  Cheesy. Hold tight and it'll be here soon enough. I'm sure the value of your accounts are going to rise along with the interest in them also very soon  Grin.

Ah geez H@C the way you worded that I'm thinking of PD3 all over again  Grin
Well at least it will come it beats a BFL 2 Weeks TM anyday haha
Otherwise pretty quiet on the sig campaign front atm

I'm sure it won't be anywhere near that long. Re-opening and re-rolling a signature campaign out is a little less complicated and stressful than an entire site. You don't have to check for bugs and make sure every aspect of it is working properly as it is pretty straight forward. Once it's up and running hopefully me looking after it (if that indeed does happen - nothing confirmed yet) will take some stress off Stunna so he can concentrate on the site or other business matters etc).

Wishful thinking haha. Not everyone who bids on ad slots will also do a signature campaign (that's even if he pays for them if he wins). I agree that a signature campaign would likely be better in exposure and more cost effective than forum ads though (maybe someone should tell him that  Cheesy).

Not sure if it's been mentioned but looks like Coinut will have a deal coming out shortly as they're running a signature design contest for it. Hopefully we might see some decent competition between campaigns around these parts very soon.

@MUFC I think LuckyBit frees places when they pay the members, so you can try joining them. But from what I've seen, they get taken quickly. : /

True, but you have to place a bet on their site to be eligible now. PrimeDice is re-opening soon but it might not be open to Full Members.

You should watch the services sections everyday and jump in when new spots open or when a new campaign is launched; people leave campaigns and new campaigns open almost weekly

Satoshi's Place Ad Grid (Thread)
Payment period: Weekly
Minimum posts: Unknown. I posted on the thread to find out, however I doubt they will have one considering how much they pay. *EDIT*: He replied to my post but did not answer regarding minimum posts.
Payments: 0.00002*Activity per week. This is the same rate that bitmixer pays.
Escrow: No but he will pay upfront
Miscellaneous: It seems like it is somewhat of a spammy site that is being advertised. Also the only two posts the OP has made are regarding his signature campaign.

EDIT: it looks like botany may have beat me to this Smiley

EDIT2: He replied and said he will pay upfront.

What's the minimum amount of posts you have to do? Assuming it's 0.00005 per activity point would I get 0.0063 per week?
