I making statistics, charts for my own about my portfolio in Excel what contain the daily prices too. Now I don't know what is the real one, because the FTC withdrawal is working at Cryptsy, so lot of users use it to get their coins(buy FTC and wd, sell at other sites). I agree, 4-6k would be a fair price.

Cryptsy withdrawals are extremely slow on a few coins: BTC, LTC. Also people aren't sure they'll ever be able to withdraw their BTC cause the whole situation seems very suspicious (what type of security problem could cause withdrawals to delay by weeks?). So the value of a BTC on Cryptsy is less than it is elsewhere (remember Gox Bitcoins vs regular Bitcoins). And since you can withdraw FTC fine and quickly, it has become a more valuable commodity on Cryptsy. A way to get your money out of the exchange today.... Well that explains the unusually high spread between Cryptsy and Bittrex. People sell whatever they have on Cryptsy for Feathercoin and do fast withdrawal. Then they sell FTC on Bittrex making presure on small Bittrex orderbook. When you think about it, this is pretty artificial enviroment and probably great chance to grab some very cheap coins!

Absolutely right? I just keep buying more alt coins as they down. I think Cryptsy problems are killing the prices which is why we're seeing record lows on a lot of coins. Even last spring things were 5X where they are now at least. Also, the mainstream is interested in "blockchains" now, but they don't yet understand it. They're starting to realize that Blockchain = Bitcoin....eventually they'll realize Blockchain also = Altcoins. Then they will start doing comparisons. Suppose you are an investor from some sort of bank or payment processor. Here are your options if you want to get into blockchains: 1)Launch a decentralized blockchain (you as creator lose control of it) 2)Launch a centralized blockchain (serves no purpose as you still have high level security concerns and the blockchain can't run autonomously) 3)Buy up a small fraction of Bitcoin's blockchain for a lot of money 4)Buy up a large fraction of an altcoin blockchain for very little money Many of the alt coins also have solutions for block sizes, better anonymity, better distribution and all sorts of other technical advantages.

@cinni ... cry/bittrex is out of wack because only one of them allows for btc withdraws, thus UP pressure on one side and down pressure on the other ... just BTC holders taking a haircut to exit Cry ... they will use anycoin that works to transfer value.
========= @all DigiByteCoin it achieved a potential 4,000+ transactions per second almost two years ago. What range does FTC claim?
