this is a interesting article about gabi:

http://www.futuresmag.com/2014/09/22/bitcoin-fund-launches

Quote
Jean-Marie Mognetti, Director and partner at GAJL added: “In addition to digitalBTC, GAJL also established relationships, based on trust and transparency with a limited number of exchanges.  These exchanges - Bitfinex (Hong Kong) - Coinsetter (New York, USA) - have been approved by GABI's compliance department following an extensive due diligence process to make sure they fall within the operational limits imposed by our local regulator.”

what do you guys think? is it correct to assume they can/will buy directly on bitfinex?

is there a corrolation to the bid walls on bitfinex?

Presumably they're looking for the option to buy and sell on their partner exchanges. To me, that implies they feel they may need to handle more volume than whatever off-exchange trading options they have in place can offer. This isn't necessarily bullish though: The assumption here has been funds like GABI would buy from miners directly, but who would they sell to when they need to? It's possible they need avenues to offload coins through more than they need avenues for buying them.

I can see a nice spike on Finex to 520 in the next 6-12h  Cool Smiley

Mind telling us WHY you think so? It's as pointless as "5k USD by the end of this year!!111" OK, makes sense.

If Bitcoins turns into bull mode, things can escalate quickly  Wink . Just look at the acceleration of the rise in the end of may.

Also those active 10k shorts on Finex and probably 20-40k in China might help a bit.

Nice to see some upside, it would be the time for a reversal already. Looks like weekly macd could turn to decline from this week but need some more days to see if this is going to be the case and perhaps a reversal.

We believe digital goods merchants will be excited to work with these industry-leading companies to sell ringtones, games and music and get paid with Bitcoin.

Loaded's shown up before large drops before too. I think it was one of the fake reversals from this year.

Here's hoping this one's genuine.

I didn't get to buy my 3xx coins, it didn't quite make it low enough Sad

Paypal news = normal people finally realizing it's not a ponzi or related to terrorism*.
HUGE

'Normal people' think PayPal is a ponzi or related to terrorism.

Go into an Enterprise Car Rental center, and ask about paying with/accepting PayPal. Let alone any other internet ePayments service provider. See what looks you get.

LOL!! To me there's no difference between these two^ - both equally ridiculous xD

The day I cash out my BTC i will look like this :
